The Scottish Junior Football Association (SJFA) is an affiliated national association of the Scottish Football Association and is the governing body for the junior grade of football in Scotland. The term "junior" refers to the level of football played, not the age of the players. The closest equivalent terminology would be non-League football in England, the difference being that junior football in Scotland was not similarly integrated into its football league system until 2021.
The Scottish Junior Football Association, North Region is one of the two regions of the Scottish Junior Football Association. Its area covers Grampian and Moray as well as part of the Highland and Angus council areas – from Montrose in the south to Nairn in the west. The North Region features three region-wide divisions, having reverted from the previous setup of two regional divisions below the North Superleague used for five seasons prior to 2018. It replaced the North Junior Football League which had a similar territory and structure. On 5 July 2021, it was announced that the North Region leagues are joined from tier 6 by the North Caledonian League and Midlands League to form a fully-integrated lower tiers below the Highland League from 2021-22.

Hermes Junior Football Club are a Scottish football club from Bridge of Don, an area of the city of Aberdeen. Founded in 1968 by pupils of Robert Gordon's College, the club initially played at amateur level before becoming members of the Scottish Junior Football Association in 1993. They currently play in the SJFA North Superleague and their home ground is Lochside Park.
Lochee United Football Club are a Scottish football club based in the Lochee area of Dundee. Formed in 1892, they currently compete in the SJFA Midlands League and play their home games at Thomson Park.
Dundee North End Football Club are a Scottish junior football club based in the city of Dundee. Formed in 1895 and nicknamed the Dokens, they play their home games at North End Park which has room for around 2,000 spectators and is within the vicinity of the grounds of both Dundee and Dundee United. Their strip (uniform) colours are maroon home kit and light blue away kit.
Montrose Roselea Junior Football Club is a Scottish Junior football club based in the town of Montrose, Angus. It is a member of the Scottish Junior Football Association and currently plays in the North Region Junior Football League Premier Division in the sixth tier of football in Scotland. It will join the Midlands Football League starting from the 2023–24 season.
Dufftown Football Club are a Scottish football club from the town of Dufftown, Moray. Members of the Scottish Junior Football Association since 2001, they compete in the North Region. They club are based at Westburn Park and their colours are all green.

Dyce Football Club are a Scottish football club from Dyce, a suburb of Aberdeen. Members of the Scottish Junior Football Association, they currently play in the SJFA North Superleague. The club are based at Ian Mair Park and their colours are blue and white hoops.
Lewis United Junior Football Club was a Scottish football club from the city of Aberdeen. The club folded in May 2018 after seventy years as members of the Scottish Junior Football Association.
Maud Football Club are a Scottish football club from the village of Maud, Aberdeenshire. Members of the Scottish Junior Football Association, they currently play in the SJFA North Superleague. The current club formed in 1973 as an Amateur side and joined the SJFA North Region in 1975. Their home ground is Maud Pleasure Park and the club colours are red. The club withdrew from the league at the beginning of the 2002–03 season after some heavy defeats but returned the following year, winning promotion at the first attempt.
East End Football Club are a Scottish football club from the city of Aberdeen. Members of the Scottish Junior Football Association, they currently play in the SJFA North Superleague. The club is based at New Advocates Park, 500 metres from Pittodrie Stadium, home of Aberdeen. Their home kit colours are black and gold.
The 2015–16 North Superleague is the fifteenth staging of the North Superleague, the highest tier of league competition in the North Region of the Scottish Junior Football Association. The season began on 11 August 2015. The winners of this competition are eligible to enter the 2016–17 Scottish Cup
Stoneywood Parkvale Football Club are a Scottish football club from the Stoneywood area of Aberdeen. Members of the Scottish Junior Football Association, North Region, they were formed in 2016 following the amalgamation of two existing clubs, F.C. Stoneywood and Parkvale.
The 2018–19 North Superleague was the 18th season of the North Superleague, the top tier of league competition for SJFA North Region member clubs.
The 2019–20 North Superleague was the 19th season of the North Superleague, the top tier of league competition for SJFA North Region member clubs. Banks O' Dee were the reigning champions.
The 2021–22 North Superleague was the 20th season of the North Superleague, and the 1st season as the sixth tier of the Scottish football pyramid system. This is the top tier of league competition for SJFA North Region member clubs.
