Cleo Fields is an American attorney and politician who serves in the Louisiana Senate. He represented Louisiana's 4th congressional district in the United States House of Representatives from 1993 to 1997 and ran unsuccessfully for governor of Louisiana in 1995. The 2024 United States Senate special election in Nebraska was held on November 5,2024,to elect the Class 2 member of the United States Senate from Nebraska,to complete the term of Ben Sasse,who resigned on January 8,2023,to become the president of the University of Florida.
