A television network or broadcaster is a telecommunications network for distribution of television program content, where a central operation provides programming to many television stations or pay television providers. Until the mid-1980s, television programming in most countries of the world was dominated by a small number of terrestrial networks. Many early television networks evolved from earlier radio networks.
Georgia Public Broadcasting (GPB) is a state network of PBS member television stations and NPR member radio stations serving the U.S. state of Georgia. It is operated by the Georgia Public Telecommunications Commission, an agency of the Georgia state government which holds the licenses for most of the PBS and NPR member stations licensed in the state. The broadcast signals of the nine television stations and 19 radio stations cover almost all of the state, as well as parts of Alabama, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee.
The Dutch public broadcasting system is a set of organizations that together take care of public service television and radio broadcasting in the Netherlands. It is composed of a foundation called Nederlandse Publieke Omroep (NPO), which acts as its governing body, and a number of public broadcasters. The Dutch Media Act 2008 regulates how air time is divided and puts the administration of the public broadcasting system in the hands of the Board of Directors of NPO.

In the Netherlands, the television market is divided between a number of commercial networks, such as RTL Nederland, and a system of public broadcasters sharing three channels, NPO 1, NPO 2, and NPO 3. Imported programmes, as well as news interviews with responses in a foreign language, are almost always shown in their original language, with subtitles.

KHET, virtual and VHF digital channel 11, branded as PBS Hawai'i, is a Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) member television station licensed to Honolulu, Hawaii, United States and serving the Hawaiian Islands. The station is owned by the Hawaii Public Television Foundation. KHET's studios are located on Sand Island Access Road in Honolulu, and its main transmitter is located on Palehua Ridge, north of Makakilo.
WUFT, virtual channel 5, is a Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) member television station licensed to Gainesville, Florida, United States. Owned by the University of Florida, it is sister to low-power independent station WRUF-LD, National Public Radio (NPR) member WUFT-FM (89.1), and commercial radio stations WRUF and WRUF-FM (103.7). The five stations share studios at Weimer Hall on the University's campus; WUFT's transmitter is located on Northwest 53rd Avenue in Gainesville.
KTVB, virtual and VHF digital channel 7, is an NBC-affiliated television station licensed to Boise, Idaho, United States. The station is owned by Tegna Inc. KTVB's studios are located on West Fairview Avenue in Boise, and its transmitter is located at the Bogus Basin ski area summit in unincorporated Boise County.
Religious broadcasting is the dissemination of television and/or radio content that intentionally has religious ideas, religious experience, or religious practice as its core focus. In some countries, religious broadcasting developed primarily within the context of public service provision, whilst in others, it has been driven more by religious organisations themselves. Across Europe and in the US and Canada, religious broadcasting began in the earliest days of radio, usually with the transmission of religious worship, preaching or "talks". Over time, formats evolved to include a broad range of styles and approaches, including radio and television drama, documentary, and chat show formats, as well as more traditional devotional content. Today, many religious organizations record sermons and lectures, and have moved into distributing content on their own web-based IP channels.
WVUA-CD, virtual channel 7, is a low-powered, Class A Cozi TV-affiliated television station licensed to both Tuscaloosa and Northport, Alabama, United States. The station is owned by the University of Alabama. WVUA-CD's studios and transmitter are located within the Digital Media Center at Bryant–Denny Stadium on the University's campus in Tuscaloosa.
NPO 1 is the first national television station in the Netherlands. It launched on 2 October 1951. It provides public broadcasting and currently exists next to sister channels NPO 2 and NPO 3. A wide range of broadcasting organisations of the Publieke Omroep deliver programs. A wide variety of programs is broadcast on the channel, usually for larger audiences. In 2018, it was the most viewed channel in the Netherlands, reaching a market share of 22.0%.
PBS Wisconsin is a state network of non-commercial educational television stations operated primarily by the Wisconsin Educational Communications Board and the University of Wisconsin–Madison. It comprises all of the Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) member stations in the state outside of Milwaukee
RTL 7 is a Dutch free-to-cable television channel that was launched as Veronica on 1 September 1995. RTL 7 is RTL Nederland's "men's channel" with action films, reality television about crime and professions, soccer, motorsport and talk shows about sports. During daytime business and financial news channel RTL Z was broadcasting on RTL 7 till RTL Nederland revamped RTL Z into a 24-hours channel on 7 September 2015.
WBNA, virtual channel 21, is an independent commercial television station licensed to Louisville, Kentucky, United States. The station is owned by local charismatic megachurch Evangel World Prayer Center. WBNA's offices are located on Fern Valley Road in Okolona, and its transmitter is located off Oakcrest Drive in Shepherdsville. As such, WBNA is the only full-power television station in the Louisville market whose transmitter facilities are not based at the Kentuckiana tower farm in Floyds Knobs, Indiana. On cable, the station is available on Charter Spectrum and Comcast Xfinity channel 21.
The Tube Music Network, Inc., or The Tube, was an American digital multicast television network. The network was a fully owned subsidiary of The Tube Media Corp., an independent company that was founded by David Levy in 2003. The Tube focused classic and modern music videos in a format similar to the original format of cable networks MTV and VH1, prior to those networks' shift towards long-form entertainment programming. The network also aired occasional commercials and public service announcements, as well as three hours of educational and informational programming on Saturday mornings.
WTAP-TV, virtual channel 15, is an NBC-affiliated television station licensed to Parkersburg, West Virginia, United States and serving the Mid-Ohio Valley. Owned by Gray Television, it is sister to two low-power stations: Fox affiliate WOVA-LD and CBS affiliate WIYE-LD. The three stations share studios on Market Street in downtown Parkersburg; WTAP-TV's transmitter is located in Independence Township, Ohio. On cable, the station is available on Suddenlink channel 4 and CAS Cable channel 3.
MeTV, an acronym for Memorable Entertainment Television, is an American broadcast television network owned by Weigel Broadcasting. Marketed as "The Definitive Destination for Classic TV", the network airs a variety of classic television programs from the 1950s through the late 2000s.
Nickelodeon is a Belgian television channel that is derived from the Dutch Nickelodeon. The channel started in the summer of 2009 when it got its own programming. Via the satellite, the Dutch version is still being broadcast.
A broadcast relay station, also known as a satellite station, relay transmitter, broadcast translator (U.S.), re-broadcaster (Canada), repeater or complementary station (Mexico), is a broadcast transmitter which repeats the signal of a radio or television station to an area not covered by the originating station. It expands the broadcast range of a television or radio station beyond the primary signal's original coverage or improves service in the original coverage area. The stations may be used to create a single-frequency network. They may also be used by an AM or FM radio station to establish a presence on the other band.
