The Estonian Music Awards (Estonian : Eesti Muusikaauhinnad) are the annual Estonian pop music awards. The awards began in 1998, when the Estonian Association of the Phonogram Producers first awarded the Golden Record (Estonian : Kuldne Plaat) to the most successful artists. The award ceremony was pre-recorded by Eesti Televisioon on 29 December 1998 and aired two days later in the last day of the year. [1]

Lenna Kuurmaa is an Estonian singer-songwriter and actress. She is a member of the girl group Vanilla Ninja, but after the band's hiatus since 2009, continued to work as a solo-artist. She also formed a band with the name "Lenna" who released the debut album Lenna in June 2010.
Kerli Kõiv, better known mononymously as Kerli, is an Estonian singer and songwriter.
Hannah Ild, known professionally as Hannah, is an Estonian songwriter, singer, and pianist of ballads and classic pop.
Smilers is an Estonian rock band formed in 1991 by Hendrik Sal-Saller. The name reportedly originated from a Rod Stewart album, Smiler. The band was first named Lezer Brozers. In the early years Smilers produced two albums in Finland, but as these were not successful, they returned to Estonia and gained fame soon after. Smilers won the Artist of the Year award in the 2004 Estonian Music Awards. Smilers were also awarded a Golden Disc for Song of the Year in 2004 for "Ainult unustamiseks".
Eesti otsib superstaari(Estonia is Searching for a Superstar) is an Estonian reality-competition gameshow airing on TV3. It debuted on 11 March 2007 and it has since become one of the most popular shows in Estonia. Part of the Idol franchise, it originated from the reality program Pop Idol created by the British entertainment executive Simon Fuller, first aired in 2001 in the United Kingdom.
Koit Toome, is an Estonian singer and musical actor.
Birgit Sarrap, also known mononymously as Birgit, is an Estonian singer. She rose to prominence in 2007 after winning the first season of Eesti otsib superstaari, the Estonian version of Idol. Her debut self-titled studio album was later released in 2008. Birgit has gone on to release four other studio albums in her career.
Bedwetters are an Estonian pop punk band formed in September 2004. They became known in the spring of 2007 when they won a major contest for Estonian new groups. The band didn't play together between May 2013 and June 2022.
Meie Mees is a popular Estonian pop band, known for their cover versions of international hits with Estonian lyrics.
Malcolm Lincoln was an Estonian band that formed in October 2009. The members are Robin Juhkental, Jakob Juhkam, Siim Raidma, Ott Adamson, Johan Alexander Petti and Hans Kurvits. The original lineup consisted of Robin Juhkental (vocals/electronics) and Madis Kubu (bass). Juhkental has described their style as "electronic pop with a slightly quirky undertone". The band's name originates from the game show Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?, where a woman incorrectly answered "Malcolm Lincoln" to a question involving the first name of Abraham Lincoln, the 16th President of the United States. Malcolm Lincoln, together with a group of backing vocalists called Manpower 4, won the competition Eesti Laul 2010 with the song "Siren" and represented Estonia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2010. The band released their debut album Loaded With Zoul in May 2010.
Vaiko Eplik is an independent Estonian pop-composer, producer, singer and multi-instrumentalist.
Tatjana Mihhailova-Saar, better known as Tanja or Tanja Mihhailova is a Russian-Estonian pop singer and actress. She was born in Kaliningrad, Russia, and has lived in Estonia from a very young age. Tanja has been a member of several bands in her professional career and has performed in several stage musicals. She represented Estonia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 with the song "Amazing" and finished in 12th place in the semi-final, failing to qualify.
Ewert and The Two Dragons is an Estonian indie-rock band. The line-up consists of vocalist Ewert Sundja, guitarist Erki Pärnoja, drummer Kristjan Kallas, and bassist Ivo Etti. Their debut album The Hills Behind The Hills was released in 2009. The follow-up Good Man Down was recorded at the beginning of 2011 and was released in April on I Love You Records. The group's third album, Circles, was released in 2015 on Sire Records. They have gained recognition in the Baltic states as well as in several other European countries.
Iiris Vesik, better known as simply Iiris, is an Estonian singer, songwriter, and stage actress. Her debut album The Magic Gift Box was released in March 2012 under EMI Music Finland. She's also the singer of the group Night Tapes.
Uku Suviste is an Estonian singer-songwriter, pianist and music producer. He was scheduled to represent Estonia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 in Rotterdam, Netherlands, before cancellation of the competition that year. Instead, he represented Estonia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2021.
Trad.Attack! is an Estonian band which consists of Sandra Sillamaa, Jalmar Vabarna, and Tõnu Tubli. They sing in Estonian or Estonian dialects.
