The David X. Marks Tennis Stadium is a tennis facility located on the campus of the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. [1] The facility, built in 1971, serves as the home of the USC Trojans men's and women's tennis teams. [2] The facility provides six outdoor tennis courts and has a seating capacity of 1,000. [1] [3] The stadium is named for David X. Marks, a World War I pilot. [2]

Renovations

In 2015, The Buntmann Family Tennis Center was added and includes a new entrance and lobby. [1] The renovation included suites with lockers, showers, team meeting rooms and lounges. [4] The renovation also included a new training room, storage area and large multi-purpose room. [4] In 2005, a new LED scoreboard was installed. [1] In 2002, 700 chair-back seats were added replacing bleacher seating. [5]

The Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum is an American outdoor sports multi-purpose stadium located in the Exposition Park neighborhood of Los Angeles, California. Conceived as a hallmark of civic pride, the Coliseum was commissioned in 1921 as a memorial to L.A. veterans of World War I. Completed in 1923, it will become the first stadium to have hosted the Summer Olympics three times when it hosts the 2028 Summer Olympics. The stadium has previously hosted the Summer Olympics in 1932 and 1984. It was declared a National Historic Landmark on July 27, 1984, the day before the opening ceremony of the 1984 Summer Olympics.

The Los Angeles Memorial Sports Arena was a multi-purpose arena at Exposition Park, in the University Park neighborhood of Los Angeles. It was located next to the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum and just south of the campus of the University of Southern California, which managed and operated both venues under a master lease agreement with the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum Commission. The arena was demolished in 2016 and replaced with Banc of California Stadium, home of Major League Soccer's Los Angeles FC which opened in 2018.

Stanford Stadium

Stanford Stadium is an outdoor athletic stadium in Stanford, California, on the campus of Stanford University. It is the home of the Stanford Cardinal college football team as well as the site of the university's commencement exercises. It opened in 1921 as a football and track and field stadium, an earthen horseshoe with wooden bleacher seating and flooring upon a steel frame. Its original seating capacity was 60,000, which grew to 89,000 by 1927 as a nearly enclosed bowl. Immediately following the 2005 season, the stadium was demolished and rebuilt as a dual-deck concrete structure, without a track. Today, it seats 50,424.

Crisler Center

Crisler Center is an indoor arena located in Ann Arbor, Michigan. It is the home arena for the University of Michigan's men's and women's basketball teams as well as its women's gymnastics team. Constructed in 1967, the arena seats 12,707 spectators. It is named for Herbert O. "Fritz" Crisler, head football coach at Michigan from 1938 to 1947 and athletic director thereafter until his retirement in 1968. Crisler Center was designed by Dan Dworsky, a member of the 1948 Rose Bowl team. Among other structures that he has designed is the Federal Reserve Bank of Los Angeles.

The William B. Finneran Pavilion is a 6,501-seat multi-purpose arena in Villanova, Pennsylvania, United States, about 10 miles outside Philadelphia. It was built in 1985, and is home to the Villanova University Wildcats basketball teams. It is recognizable from the outside for its hyperbolic paraboloid roofline, similar to Alfond Arena at the University of Maine. It replaced the still-existing Villanova Field House, later renamed the "Jake Nevin Field House," a small arena-auditorium built in 1932. The first men's game played at the Pavilion took place on Saturday, February 1, 1986, versus the University of Maryland. For games where larger crowds are expected, Villanova plays at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia. The Finneran Pavilion is known for its famed student section, which constitutes a full third of the seating. Formerly located in the south end, the student bleachers seat 2,000 students but have been known to be filled with as many as 2,500 students.

Bishop Amat Memorial High School is a co-ed Catholic high school serving the San Gabriel Valley in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Los Angeles, and was founded in 1957. The Southwest Baptist University Bearcats are the sports teams of Southwest Baptist University located in Bolivar, Missouri. They participate in the NCAA's Division II Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC). The Bearcats had competed in the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association (MIAA) since 1986. In 2014, the Bearcats as well as the Lincoln Blue Tigers began competing in the GLVC as a football member-only team.

USC Trojans men's volleyball is a collegiate volleyball team that represents the University of Southern California (USC). The team participates as a member of the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF), an athletic conference in Division I of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). The program began in 1970 and first awarded schlorships during the 1976-77 season. The program has won the NCAA Men's Volleyball Championship four times, and placed second seven times. Home games are played at Galen Center on the USC campus in Los Angeles, California.

The stadium is named for Katherine B. Loker and the field is named for former USC track and field coach, Dean Cromwell. The entrance to the facility is called "Louis Zamperini Plaza" and includes tributes to USC's NCAA and Olympic champions.

McAlister Field

McAlister Field, is a soccer facility located on the campus of the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. The facility, which was built in 1998, serves as the home of the USC Trojans women's soccer team and women's lacrosse team. It is also the home of the women's club rugby team and former home of the men's club rugby team. The stadium has a seating capacity of 1,000. The facility is named after Soni McAlister.

Merle Norman Stadium

Merle Norman Stadium is a beach volleyball facility located in Los Angeles. The on-campus USC facility, built in 2013, serves as the home of the USC Trojans women's beach volleyball team. The facility has 3 sand courts where USC plays its home matches and holds practices.

Lyon Center

The Lyon Center or Lyon Recreation Center is a student recreational facility and part-time varsity athletics facility located on the campus of the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. The Lyon Center's full name is the General William Lyon University Center and is named for William Lyon, a former General in the United States Army Air Corps and United States Air Force. The facility is adjacent to the Uytengsu Aquatics Center.

The University of South Florida athletic facilities are the stadiums and arenas the South Florida Bulls use for their home games and training. The University of South Florida currently sponsors 17 varsity athletic teams and has 11 facilities in the designated Athletics District on or adjacent to its Tampa campus, one on its St. Petersburg campus, and one elsewhere in Tampa.
