Dainard Paulson (born May 5, 1937) is an American former professional football player who was a defensive back for the New York Titans / Jets of the American Football League (AFL). He played college football for the Oregon State Beavers. With the Jets, he was an AFL All-Star in 1964 and 1965.

The American Football League (AFL) was a major professional American football league that operated for ten seasons from 1960 until 1970, when it merged with the older National Football League (NFL), and became the American Football Conference. The upstart AFL operated in direct competition with the more established NFL throughout its existence. It was more successful than earlier rivals to the NFL with the same name, the 1926, 1936 and 1940 leagues, and the later All-America Football Conference.
Gerald John Philbin is an American former professional football player who was a defensive end in the American Football League (NFL) and National Football League (NFL). He was a four-year starter playing college football for the Buffalo Bulls, earning several honors including second-team All-American, Little All-American, and All-American Academic team. Drafted by both the Detroit Lions of the NFL and the New York Jets of the AFL in the third round of their respective 1964 drafts, he joined the Jets and became an immediate starter and perennial All-AFL selection at defensive end. He played stellar defense for them for nine seasons.

Bill Mathis was an American professional football player who was a running back for the New York Titans/Jets in the American Football League (AFL). He played college football for the Clemson Tigers. He also competed on the Clemson Tigers track and field team. He started his professional career with the Titans, and played his entire career with the AFL's New York franchise. One of four Titans who remained with the New York Jets to play in and win a Super Bowl, Mathis led the AFL in carries in 1961 and was selected by his peers to the Sporting News 1961 AFL All-League team. He was an AFL Eastern Division All-Star in 1961 and 1963. Mathis had a collarbone broken in the third game of 1961, against the Boston Patriots. He played in the next game, and in fact in all the remaining games of the season.

Verlon Marion Biggs was an American professional football player who was a defensive end in the American Football League (AFL) and National Football League (NFL). He played for the New York Jets (AFL) in Super Bowl III, but felt he didn't receive enough credit for the Jets' playoff win against the Oakland Raiders in the AFL Championship Game that launched them into the Super Bowl. He played well but sulked until 1971, demanded more money, and wound up signing with George Allen's Washington Redskins. Always a dominating defensive end, Biggs solidified Allen's defense along with fellow newcomers Diron Talbert, Myron Pottios and Jack Pardee, plus holdovers Pat Fischer, Chris Hanburger, Brig Owens and Mike Bass, and led the Redskins into Super Bowl VII. His nickname with the Redskins was "Dirty Biggs" because of his extremely physical style of play.
Emerson Boozer is an American former professional football player who spent his entire career as a running back for the New York Jets in the American Football League (AFL) and National Football League (NFL). In the last year of separate drafts by the AFL and the NFL, Boozer signed with the AFL's Jets, rather than with an NFL team. He was a member of the Jets team that defeated the NFL's champion Baltimore Colts, 16–7, in Super Bowl III. Before joining the AFL, Boozer played college football at the Maryland State College, which is now the University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES).
Allen Edward Atkinson is an American former professional football player who was a linebacker in the American Football League (AFL) and the National Football League (NFL). He played high school ball at Monsignor Bonner High School. He played college football for the Villanova Wildcats as a lineman. He played professionally in the AFL for the New York Jets from 1965 through 1969; then for the NFL Jets 1970 through 1974. He was a member of the Jets' 1968 World Championship team, and an AFL All-Star in 1968.
Randall Lee Rasmussen is an American former professional football guard who played for 15 seasons with the New York Jets of the American Football League (AFL) and later National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Nebraska–Kearney Lopers and was selected by the Jets in the 12th round of the 1967 NFL/AFL draft. Rasmussen played for the Jets in the 1968 AFL Championship Game victory over the Oakland Raiders. He started in the Super Bowl III, in which the Jets defeated the Baltimore Colts.
Darrell John Elliott was an American professional football player who was a defensive tackle for seven seasons with the New York Jets of the American Football League (AFL) and later National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Texas Longhorns, earning second-team all conference honors in the Southwest Conference (SWC). Elliot was selected by the Jets in the seventh round of the 1967 AFL Draft. He was a three-time all-star and three-time all-league selection, and won Super Bowl III with the Jets. He also played one season with the New York Stars of the World Football League, earning All-WFL honors once.
