Chris Partridge (born November 3, 1980) is an American football coach and former player who is currently the outside linebackers coach for the Seattle Seahawks of the National Football League (NFL). [1] He also was the Paramus Catholic High School head coach and worked as an assistant coach for Michigan Wolverines football from 2016 to 2020 and the defensive coordinator for Ole Miss from 2020 to 2022.
Partridge was the head coach of Paramus Catholic High School, a position he held for five seasons (2010–2014). While at the helm of the Paladin program, Partridge grew a football program listed 4,250th nationally and 112th in the state of New Jersey to the top-ranked team in the state and No. 4 nationally by USA Today. He coached and mentored more than 30 Division I football players during that time, as well as various All-American players including Jabrill Peppers. [2]
Partridge was hired by Michigan in January 2015 as the Director of Player Personnel. [3] On December 3, 2015, it was announced that Partridge would coach the linebackers for Michigan during the 2016 Citrus Bowl, after the departure of Michigan defensive coordinator and linebackers coach D. J. Durkin, who left to be the head coach at Maryland. [4] Partridge then took over as full time linebackers coach and helped with the special teams. On February 8, 2017, Partridge was promoted to Special Teams Coordinator and continued as linebackers coach. [5] Before the 2018 season, Partridge was offered to join the Alabama Crimson Tide football staff, but chose to stay at Michigan. [6] Weeks after, Partridge received a significant pay raise and new coaching duties. Partridge was assigned to coach safeties and continue as special teams coordinator, [7] Al Washington took over as linebackers coach.
On January 2, 2020, Chris Partridge was hired by Ole Miss and new head coach Lane Kiffin. [8] Later, Partridge was named co-defensive coordinator alongside former Michigan assistant DJ Durkin. In 2022, he was promoted to play caller while still being co-defensive coordinator with new hire Chris Kiffin.
Partridge returned to Michigan's football staff for the 2023 season, but was fired on November 17, 2023. [9] Partridge allegedly participated in the destruction of evidence regarding the Michigan Wolverines football sign-stealing scandal. [10]
Monte George Kiffin is an American football coach. He is currently a player personnel analyst at Ole Miss for his son, Lane Kiffin. He is widely considered to be one of the preeminent defensive coordinators in modern football, as well as one of the greatest defensive coordinators in NFL history. Father of the widely imitated "Tampa 2" defense, Kiffin's concepts are among the most influential in modern college and pro football.
Lane Monte Kiffin is an American football coach who is the head coach of the Ole Miss Rebels. Kiffin was the offensive coordinator for the USC Trojans football team from 2005 to 2006, head coach of the National Football League's Oakland Raiders from 2007 to 2008, head coach of the University of Tennessee Volunteers college football team in 2009, and head coach of the Trojans from 2010 to 2013. He was the youngest head coach in modern NFL history at the time when he joined the Raiders, and, for a time, was the youngest head coach of a BCS Conference team in college football. Kiffin was the offensive coordinator at the University of Alabama from 2014 until 2016, when he was hired to be the head coach at Florida Atlantic, a position he held until December 2019, when he became the head coach at Ole Miss.
Greg Mattison is a former American football coach, and former player. He spent most of his career in college football as a defensive coach. Mattison coached at Michigan for eleven years, at Notre Dame for seven years, at Florida for three years, including the 2006 national championship team, and at Ohio State for two years. He also served as a defensive assistant for the Baltimore Ravens of the NFL.

Joe Barry is an American football coach who is the linebackers coach and run game coordinator for the Miami Dolphins of the National Football League (NFL). His career includes having served as the assistant head coach and linebackers coach for the Los Angeles Rams, as well as serving as the defensive coordinator for the Washington Redskins, Detroit Lions, and Green Bay Packers. Barry also previously served as an assistant coach for the San Diego Chargers, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the San Francisco 49ers. Barry is the son of former coach Mike Barry.
Jabrill Ahmad Peppers is an American football safety for the New England Patriots of the National Football League (NFL). He was a two-time college football All-American for the Michigan Wolverines, earning unanimous All-American honors in 2016, as well as being named the Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year, Linebacker of the Year and Return Specialist of the Year. Peppers was selected in the first round by the Cleveland Browns in the 2017 NFL draft. He has also played for the New York Giants.
Daniel John Durkin is an American football coach who is the defensive coordinator for the Auburn Tigers. He was formerly the head coach for the University of Maryland. Durkin began serving as the head coach of the University of Maryland football team in 2015. Following the practice-related death of player Jordan McNair, Durkin was placed on leave in August 2018. Matt Canada was named acting head coach until further notice.

Chase Camden Winovich is a former American football defensive end who played in the National Football League (NFL) for five seasons. He played college football at the University of Michigan. He was a two-time All-Big Ten Conference selection, and received All-American honors in 2018. He was drafted by the New England Patriots in the third round of the 2019 NFL Draft. Winovich spent his first three seasons with the Patriots, also playing for the Cleveland Browns, Houston Texans and Miami Dolphins.
The 2020 Michigan Wolverines football team was an American football team that represented the University of Michigan in the East Division of the Big Ten Conference during the 2020 NCAA Division I FBS football season. In their sixth year under head coach Jim Harbaugh, the Wolverines played only six games in a season shortened by the COVID-19 pandemic, compiling a 2–4 record.

The 2023 Michigan Wolverines football team represented the University of Michigan in the East Division of the Big Ten Conference during the 2023 NCAA Division I FBS football season. In their ninth and final year under head coach Jim Harbaugh, the Wolverines compiled an undefeated 15–0 record, outscored opponents by a total of 538 to 156, and won their third consecutive Big Ten championship with a 26–0 victory over Iowa in the Big Ten Championship Game. They defeated No. 4 Alabama, 27–20 in overtime, in the 2024 Rose Bowl. They then defeated No. 2 Washington, 34–13, in the 2024 College Football Playoff National Championship to claim their first CFP title and 12th national championship in program history, their first since 1997, and their first consensus national championship since 1948. With their win against Maryland on November 18, the Wolverines became the first program in college football history to reach 1,000 wins.
