Barstow Mall is a small shopping mall in Barstow, California. It was formerly anchored by Kmart and Sears.
The Kmart store was originally slated to be W. T. Grant, which withdrew from the mall plans due to the chain's filing for bankruptcy. This resulted in the mall being only the second in the country to have both a Kmart and a Sears in it. Ernest Hahn was the mall's developer. [2] The mall, previously delayed due to financial issues, began construction in March 1976, and was planned to have 144,600 sq ft of space including both anchors and 40 interior tenants. [3] Sears was the first store to open at the mall, on October 20, 1976. [4] The mall had its grand opening on November 19, 1976, with tenants including Rude's Department Store, Karl's Shoes, Kinney Shoes, Hartfield's Dress Shop, a card and gift shop, and several smaller clothing and food tenants. [5]
The mall suffered in the early 1990s, with the closure of Kmart in November 1992, followed by the closure of Sears in January 1993. [6] The Sears building was later occupied by a Big Lots discount store, which closed in 2003. [7]
In August 2010, renovations began on the mall at the Sears end for conversion to office space. [8]

The Village at Orange, formerly known as the Orange Mall and later as The Mall of Orange, was a small enclosed shopping mall located in Orange, California. The mall, one of Orange's first, opened for consumer entry in 1971, and was composed of both internal merchants and external anchor tenant buildings, the original latter of which only Walmart remains operational. In September 2023, TVO Management, the mall's property manager, announced that the internal portion of the mall would close on or by January 31, 2024. The mall ceased internal operations on the date provided by TVO Management, marking the end of 52 years of constant public operation in Northern Orange.

Security Square Mall is a mall in Woodlawn, Baltimore County, Maryland, a suburb of Baltimore, in the United States. The mall features over 100 stores and restaurants, as well as a food court. One section of the mall, Grand Village Plaza, previously included Korean shops and restaurants; however, most of these establishments had closed by 2010. The Parks Mall at Arlington is a shopping mall that opened in 1988 at 3811 South Cooper Street and Interstate 20 in South Arlington, Texas between Fort Worth and Dallas. It went through a renovation in 1996. It is one of the leading shopping destinations in the Metroplex. The Dallas Morning News calls it "An overcrowded entertainment destination". It is the third-largest mall in Tarrant County behind its competitor, North East Mall. Major anchor stores include Dick's Sporting Goods, Dillard's, J. C. Penney, Macy's, and Nordstrom Rack.
Santa Maria Town Center is an indoor shopping center located in Santa Maria, California. It is located on the junctions of Routes 135 (Broadway) and 166, and Cook Street and Miller Street. Anchored by Macy's and Edwards Theatres, Santa Maria Town Center is the only enclosed shopping center in Santa Barbara County, and is the largest in the Central Coast, totaling about 600,000 square feet (56,000 m2) in area. It is home to a mix of 69 stores and eateries totaling approximately 25 acres (10 ha) of retail space, and features national retailers like Kay Jewelers, Bath & Body Works, Foot Locker, and GNC. Phillipsburg Mall was an indoor shopping mall located along U.S. Route 22 in Warren County, New Jersey, United States. Despite its name, the mall was actually located on the border of Lopatcong Township and Pohatcong Township, just east of Phillipsburg.
The Spotsylvania Towne Centre is a mall located in Spotsylvania County, Virginia, on Virginia State Route 3, less than a mile west of Interstate 95, and directly across from the Central Park shopping and dining complex. The mall is owned and developed by Cafaro Company. The property was renamed as "Spotsylvania Towne Centre" at the beginning of a $12 million renovation project. The project, completed in 2009, included an extensive remodeling of the mall's interior and exterior. At the same time, construction was begun on an outdoor lifestyle center called "The Village." The Shops at Billerica is a strip mall and former enclosed shopping mall located in Billerica, Massachusetts. It was built as part of a series of malls including the Woburn Mall, and the Mystic Mall. Anchor stores include Burlington and Big Lots. The property is currently going under a massive redevelopment, although the timeline for completion is unknown. Richland Town Center is a power center in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, United States. It is located on U.S. Route 219 at Elton Road and Theatre Drive. The center opened in 2004 on the site of the former Richland Mall. Existing from 1974 to 1998, Richland Mall was an enclosed shopping mall whose anchor stores were Sears, Kmart, and Penn Traffic; Sears later became Hills and then Ames, while Penn Traffic later became Hess's and then The Bon-Ton. Richland Mall was shuttered in 1998 after losing business to The Johnstown Galleria which opened in 1992. Richland Mall was then torn down and redeveloped as a strip mall, which features Walmart, TJ Maxx/HomeGoods, Best Buy, and Ulta as its anchor stores.

Cherryland Center, formerly known as Cherryland Mall, is a shopping center located in Garfield Township near Traverse City in the U.S. state of Michigan. Opened in 1976, the site served as the only enclosed shopping mall in Northwest Michigan until 1992, when the nearby Grand Traverse Mall opened. In 1999, the property was redeveloped as an outdoor shopping center. A number of anchor tenants closing in the 2010s led to the property being deemed a "dead mall", despite retaining a high occupancy rate.
Las Catalinas Mall, also known as Shops @ Caguas, is an enclosed shopping mall located in Caguas, Puerto Rico, United States. The mall opened in 1997, and is currently anchored by a Sector Sixty6 entertainment center which takes up the space of a previous Big Kmart, a Forever 21 junior anchor store, and a Ross Dress for Less which is scheduled to open in 2025 in the former Sears store at the mall which closed their doors in February 2021, The Shops at Caguas are home to the first "large premium format" movie theater in Puerto Rico, currently owned and managed by Caribbean Cinemas.
Cross County Mall is a shopping mall in Mattoon, Illinois, U.S. It was opened in 1971 with JCPenney, G. C. Murphy, IGA, Arlan's, and Myers Brothers, with Sears joining in 1972. Following the closure of Arlan's in 1973, the space became Kmart one year later. G. C. Murphy became Meis, Elder-Beerman, and then Carson's, while Kmart moved out of the mall in 1993 and became a larger Sears store. The Sears closed in 2014 and became a Rural King in 2019. Following the closures of Carson's and JCPenney in 2018 and 2020 respectively, the mall's anchors are Rural King, Marshalls, Jo-Ann Fabrics, and Dunham's Sports. Rural King also owns the mall.
