The 2020 French F4 Championship was the tenth season to run under the guise of the French F4 Championship and the third under the FIA Formula 4 regulations. The championship used Mygale M14-F4 chassis. For 2020, the series used a new 1.3-liter turbocharged engine produced by Renault Sport, replacing the previously used 2.0-litre naturally aspirated engine. On 22 April 2020 the series announced a seven-round calendar with a delayed start to the season due to the 2019-20 coronavirus pandemic. [7] [8] The round at Pau that was postponed on 17 March 2020 and not included on the new schedule. [9] The 3rd round scheduled at Hungaroring was replaced by Circuit Zandvoort. [10] The penultimate round of the season at Circuit de Lédenon was cancelled by the circuit and the organizers. [11] The final round at Bugatti Circuit in Le Mans was called off by local authorities. [12] The additional rounds were scheduled to take place at Circuit Paul Ricard. [13] [3]

The Circuit Paul Ricard is a French motorsport race track built in 1969 at Le Castellet, Var, near Marseille, with finance from pastis magnate Paul Ricard. Ricard wanted to experience the challenge of building a racetrack. The circuit has hosted the FIA Formula One French Grand Prix intermittently from 1971 to 2022.
French F4 Championship, formerly known as Formula Renault Campus France, Formula Campus, Formul'Academy Euro Series, F4 Eurocup 1.6 is a form of open wheel racing founded in 1993 by Louis Drouet. It is based in France and aims at karting graduates. The series currently organized by the Fédération Française du Sport Automobile (FFSA). Formerly, the champion receives support to continue in one of the Formula Renault 2.0 championships. In 2010, the re-branded series was made part of the World Series by Renault, but was then dropped for 2011. Since 2018, the series runs under FIA moniker.
The 2011 French F4 Championship season was the nineteenth season of the series for 1600cc Formula Renault machinery, and the first season to run under the guise of French F4 Championship. The series began on 9 April at Circuit de Lédenon and ended on 30 October at Circuit Paul Ricard, after seven rounds and fourteen races.
Circuit de Lédenon is a 3.151 km (1.958 mi) motor racing circuit located next to the town of Lédenon, Gard, France, about 25 km (16 mi) northeast of Nîmes. It hosts FFSA GT Championship and French F4 Championship.
The 2012 French F4 Championship season was the twentieth season of the series for 1600cc Formula Renault machinery, and the second season to run under the guise of the French F4 Championship. The series began on 28 April at Circuit de Lédenon and ended on 28 October at Circuit Paul Ricard, after seven rounds and fourteen races.
The 2015 French F4 Championship season is the 23rd season of the series for 1600cc Formula Renault machinery, and the fifth season to run under the guise of the French F4 Championship. The series will begin on 19 April at Lédenon and ends on 25 October at Le Castellet, after seven rounds and twenty-one races.
The 2019 French F4 Championship was the ninth season to run under the guise of the French F4 Championship and the second season under the FIA Formula 4 regulations. The championship used Mygale M14-F4 chassis with an upgraded 2.0 litre engine. The series began on 20 April at Nogaro and ended on 13 October at Le Castellet. Hadrien David, who won seven races throughout the season, won the title, 57.5 points ahead of closest challenger Reshad de Gerus, who came out victorious on four occasions. Sixth-placed Enzo Valente won two races, and Nicky Hays, Victor Bernier, Gillian Henrion, Isack Hadjar, Ugo Gazil, Mikkel Grundtvig and Paul-Adrien Pallot all won one race respectively.
The 2020 Formula Renault Eurocup was a multi-event motor racing championship for open-wheel, formula racing cars held across Europe. The championship featured drivers competing in 1.8 litre Formula Renault single-seat race cars that conform to the technical regulations of Formula Regional. The 2020 season was the 30th and final season Eurocup Formula Renault organised by Renault Sport, as it merged with the Formula Regional European Championship for the 2021 season. The series visited nine circuits around Europe. The championship was won by Victor Martins, with ART Grand Prix taking the teams' title.
Dennis Hauger is a Norwegian racing driver who is currently competing in the 2024 FIA Formula 2 Championship with MP Motorsport. He was a member of the Red Bull Junior Team and is the 2021 FIA Formula 3 champion. He also won the 2019 Italian F4 Championship with Van Amersfoort Racing.
Hadrien David, is a French racing driver who currently races in the Formula Regional European Championship part-time with Monolite Racing, having previously competed with R-ace GP for the previous two years. He was the youngest FIA Formula 4 Champion when he won the French F4 Championship in 2019, at the age of 15. He was the 2021 Formula Regional European runner-up.
The 2021 FIA Formula 3 Championship was a motor racing championship for Formula 3 cars that was sanctioned by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA). The championship was the twelfth season of Formula 3 racing and the third season run under the guise of the FIA Formula 3 Championship, an open-wheel racing category that serves as the third tier of formula racing in the FIA Global Pathway. The category was run in support of selected rounds of the 2021 FIA Formula One World Championship. As the championship was a spec series, all teams and drivers that competed in the championship ran the same car, the Dallara F3 2019. The championship was contested over twenty-one races at seven circuits. It started in May with a round in support of the Spanish Grand Prix and ended in September on the weekend of the Russian Grand Prix.
The 2021 French F4 Championship was the 11th season to run under the guise of the French F4 Championship and the fourth under the FIA Formula 4 regulations. The championship used Mygale M14-F4 chassis. The series began on 3 April at Circuit Paul Armagnac and ended on 24 October at Circuit de Nevers Magny-Cours.
Ayumu Iwasa is a Japanese racing driver who is competing in the Super Formula Championship for Team Mugen. He previously competed with DAMS in the FIA Formula 2 Championship, earning Rookie of the Year honours by finishing fifth overall in 2022 and finishing fourth the following year. He is a member of the Honda Formula Dream Project and Red Bull Junior Team and is the 2020 French F4 champion.
Sami Meguetounif is a French racing driver who most recently competed in the 2024 FIA Formula 3 Championship with Trident. He previously competed in the Formula Regional European Championship for two seasons in 2022 and 2023 with MP Motorsport.
The 2022 FIA Formula 2 Championship was a motor racing championship for Formula 2 cars that was sanctioned by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA). The championship was the fifty-sixth season of Formula 2 racing and the sixth season ran under the FIA Formula 2 Championship moniker. It was an open-wheel racing category that served as the second tier of formula racing in the FIA Global Pathway. The category ran in support of selected rounds of the 2022 FIA Formula One World Championship. As the championship was a spec series, all teams and drivers competing in the championship ran the same car, the Dallara F2 2018.
The 2022 French F4 Championship was the 12th season to run under the guise of the French F4 Championship and the fifth under the FIA Formula 4 regulations. The championship switched to Mygale M21-F4 chassis. The series began on 16 April at Circuit Paul Armagnac and ended on 16 October at Circuit Paul Ricard.
Esteban Masson is a Canadian-French racing driver who is the 2021 French F4 and the 2023 Eurocup-3 champion. He is set to compete in the FIA World Endurance Championship for Akkodis ASP Team in the Lexus RC F GT3 alongisde José María López and Takeshi Kimura.
Souta Arao is a Japanese racing driver who is currently competing in the 2024 Super Formula Lights for Toda Racing. He previously competed in the French F4 Championship & GB3 Championship. He is a scholar of the Honda Racing School which formerly as Suzuka Racing School, and part of the Honda Formula Dream Project.
The 2023 French F4 Championship was the 13th season to run under the guise of the French F4 Championship and the sixth under the FIA Formula 4 regulations. The series began on 7 April at Circuit Paul Armagnac and concluded on 8 October at Circuit Paul Ricard. It was the first season in which the series was partnered with the ADAC Formel Junior Team.
Enzo Peugeot is a French racing driver currently racing in the 2024 Formula Regional European Championship with Saintéloc Racing. He was the 2023 French F4 vice-champion.
