The 1926 Eastern Suburbs season was the 19th in the club's history. They competed in the 1926 NSWRFL Premiership, finishing the regular season 3rd (out of 9). Easts came within one match of the premiership final but were knocked out by eventual premiers, South Sydney.

He also played for English Football League side Carlisle United, Scottish Premiership side Motherwell and for Glenavon in the NIFL Premiership. He is the father of Aaron Molloy, who is also a professional footballer.

It was the 86th annual Grand Final of the Victorian Football League, staged to determine the premiers for the 1982 VFL season. The match, attended by 107,536 spectators, was won by Carlton.

The OAMPS Queensland Scorchers are an Australian women's field hockey team based in Queensland that play in the Australian Hockey League. In the 2014 season, they were the runners-up to the NSW Arrows. They also won the 2013 Australian Hockey League Premiership, as well as the 2015 AHL Premiership. In 2016 they made it back-to-back premierships, beating Victoria in the final. When they again met Victoria in the 2017 final, the two teams were level at full time. The match then went to shoot outs, with Victoria coming away with the championship.
Damien Nicholas Fitzpatrick is an Australia professional rugby union player of Irish descent. He currently plays for the New South Wales Waratahs in Super Rugby. He was captain of the Sydney Rays team in the National Rugby Championship in 2017 and 2018. His position of choice is Hooker.

She is also a correspondent on Fox Footy show AFL Tonight, and also works as a match-day interviewer for the Collingwood website, after graduating from Holmesglen Institute with a Bachelor Degree in Sports Media.
The 2021 ANZ Premiership season was the fifth season of Netball New Zealand's ANZ Premiership. With a team coached by Helene Wilson, captained by Sulu Fitzpatrick and featuring Ama Agbeze, Bailey Mes and Grace Nweke, Northern Mystics won their first ever premiership. Mystics finished the regular season as minor premiers, above Southern Steel and Mainland Tactix. In the Elimination final, Tactix defeated Steel 54–49. In the Grand final, Mystics defeated Tactix 61–59.
