VERY WINDY TUESDAY

Tuesday will be cool and very windy. Highs will be in the upper 40s with plenty of sun, but winds will be gusting up to or over 40mph. Fire danger will be elevated, and a power outage or 2 is possible. Wednesday will be calmer, but still breezy. Skies will remain sunny with even cooler temps in the mid 40s. Thursday will also be cool with plenty of sun and highs in the mid 40s. Friday looks to turn more active. A coastal storm will push west into Maine, and widespread rain is looking likely. With chilly temps in place, there is the potential for wintry precip away from the coast. Stay tuned as we continue to refine the forecast for this system. This storm could also have a wind and coastal flood component as astronomical tides are the highest of the month at the end of this week. The coastal storm likely lingers into Saturday with continued showers but milder temps in the 50s.
