Biography

2024 – Senior
  • Played in 42 games with 33 starts, all at second base.
  • Hit .267 on the season with two doubles, a triple, 12 RBI, eight walks and 19 runs scored.
  • Led the Pac-12 with eight sacrifice bunts.
  • Also stole four bases.
  • Capped off the season going 5-for-8 in the Pac-12 Tournament (May 21-22), driving in a run and scoring twice.
  • Went 2-for-3 in the series opener at Cal (March 22), notching two RBI and scoring once in the win.

2023 – Junior
  • Played in 54 games (51 starts), primarily at second base.
  • Hit .264 overall for the season with seven doubles, one triple, 27 RBI, 22 walks and 32 runs scored.
  • Batted .296 in 40 games played at second base.
  • Led the Pac-12 and ranked second in the country with 13 sacrifice bunts during the regular season.
  • Was 8-for-12 on stolen bases.
  • Contributed 12 multi-hit games with a season-high four hits coming in the win at BYU (April 18).
  • Also scored four times in that road win over the Cougars.
  • Drove in four runs in the middle game vs. Washington State (April 29), on the way to a sweep.
  • Smacked a two-run triple vs. Cal (April 15), his first three-bagger as a Ute.
  • Went 3-for-3 vs. New Mexico State (May 10).

Prior to Utah
  • Played at Salt Lake Community College in the 2021 and ’22 seasons.
  • Back-to-back ABCA/Rawlings Gold Glove Winner (second base in 2021 and ’22)
  • 2022 NJCAA Region 18 Defensive Player of the Year
  • 2021 NJCAA National Defensive Player of the Year
  • Hit .344 and posted 36 RBI on the 2022 season. His .994 fielding percentage was the highest of any middle infielder on the 2022 Gold Glove list.
  • Helped SLCC to a conference and region championship in 2022, reaching as high as No. 11 in the national junior college rankings.
  • Part of a 2021 Bruins team that won its regular season conference title.
