Overall a great experience. Mark Harris the tour guide was very knowledgeable and helpful. He made sure we were well prepared for each day. The trips we went on were how we imagined and thoroughly enjoyable, although a couple were disappointing, ie., Bondi Beach and the Everglades boat trip. Regardless of those two we had a great time and all our boxes were ticked.

We have recently had a really good time on the Great Indian Rail Journey. From being collected from home to being returned to the house, we and our luggage were transferred with no problem. The hotels we stayed in were really well appointed, particularly the Leela Ambience in Delhi, which was the most luxurious. The tour took in the Golden Triangle sites and was really well organized, although some early rising was involved in order to catch the sunrise at the Taj Mahal and some of the train transfers. We were lucky enough to see a tiger and some crocodiles amongst other wildlife in the
Ranthambore National Park. Our guide, Kami, was very knowledgeable and talked readily about the history of the different places we visited. We had excellent visits to so many places. Kami is a natural tour leader, keeping a close eye on our group and ensuring our safety and comfort throughout, topping this off with his personal warmth of personality and gentle humour. He made our tour really special and we can't praise him enough for that. Brilliant!

GIR 1 December. My wife and I were on the same Great Indian Rail journey as Mike and Sandie who've both recently posted reviews. There's not a lot I can add to their comments, which I completely agree with: India itself is magnificent, the sights, history, UNESCO World Heritage Sites, the Toy Train to Shimla - I doubt there's anywhere on earth you'll pack such profound experiences into just 2 weeks. Having done India the hard way twice in the past, a very special and heartfelt thank you to Kunal our guide and leader, who made it look and feel easy. His depth of knowledge, love of his country, insights behind the obvious, quiet competence fixing seen and unseen issues and sparkling sense of humor added immeasurably to our comfort and enjoyment.
Negatives? Delhi traffic!, changes to hotels listed on our original itinerary (Cecil's in Shimla and Novotel Aerocity) and as Mike said, an extra free day or two would have been good. Did these spoil the trip? Not a bit. Loved it.

My wife and I recently returned from doing the Great Indian Rail Journey with Titan Travel. Our guide Kunal was very organised and highly knowledgeable and was quick to solve any problems which arose. He had an obvious love for his country and a great sense of humour. The hotels we stayed in were amazing. Our fellow travellers were a lovely bunch of people.
The itinerary was packed with variety but we felt it could be stretched out over a couple more days as there was little free time. We saw such fabulous sights such as the Taj Mahal and the tigers of Ranthambore. The Golden Temple at Amritsar was a highlight for me. Thanks Kunal and Titan Travel for a fabulous experience.

Really enjoyed our experience in India with Titan Travel. Fabulous hotels and great food. Breath taking sites. Wish we had longer at each one as some felt rushed.
Seeing the wildlife at Ranthambore National Park was amazing and the highlight was coming close to the 5 Tigers in their natural habitat. A once in a lifetime experience.
The downside was the amount of hours spent traveling on a coach without a toilet.

We have just returned from the most amazing Great Railway Journey of India. Everything ran like clockwork, under the careful guidance of our tour guide Kunal. He went above and beyond to give us a fabulous experience; his knowledge is boundless and he looked after his 19 charges perfectly. The sights, sounds, historical and religious sites, and the people were incredible, not to mention the tigers of Ranthambore! Thank you Kunal for making our trip so memorable ... certainly we'll not forget you or India.

This was a fabulous holiday, visiting so many interesting places in northern India and learning about the history and culture thanks to our tour manager Bhanu. It was a full on schedule with early mornings but well worth it. The organisation with cases, entry tickets even shoe bags for the temples was greatly appreciated. Bhanu has a wealth of knowledge and looked after us all every step of the way - Titan should be proud to employ him, as we were to know him.

I agree with a lot of the reviews : our Egypt trip was marred when we were told by the rep exactly how much we should tip at the end of the holiday- what a nerve! This was part of a bullying culture at Titan who seem to believe their own hype before travellers' experience. So many trips were extra - in fact, all the ones we wanted to go on and they cost us another £600-odd. This is NOT made clear in the brochure or in the final itinerary. Shocking! The hotel in Cairo on our extension was smoking throughout and everywhere smelt of smoke. The windows were single glazed and the noise from the heavy traffic, dogs barking, etc. , all night kept us awake. Awful.

I returned from a holiday in Boston and New England, which should’ve been fantastic. Apart from the weather, which was everything else went wrong. I have spent the last few weeks putting my concerns in writing all a waste of time their customer service is rubbish. It was an absolute disgrace and all I have been offered new is £250 after refusing to previous offersI will not be booking another holiday with Titan ever again

What an experience. Just got back and the tour far exceeded our expectations, greatly thanks the Kami our tour guide. He went over and above and kept us laughing with all his stories. Don’t expect our type of luxury on the trains but they were an experience.

Grand Tour of Australia Nov/Dec 2024

Great trip to Australia which was enhanced by a very experienced Tour Manager, Mark. He was extremely knowledgeable, ensured the smooth running of the tour, and always willing to help in any way. The tour was busy but covered a lot in the time given. Very nice hotels throughout the tour with the majority being very central to all amenities. Highly recommend.

Our Tour Guide, Kami, was very knowledgeable and this allowed us to explore many aspects of life in India. His organisational skills are excellent and the tour ran smoothly. Thank you Kami.

This was our first trip with Titan and what a trip it was The Grand Tour of Australia, we have seen some amazing sites and been to some amazing places, from some very large vibrant booming cities to quieter Outback places, all have been absolutely fantastic. The people who live and work here are so lucky. Some of the standout places we have been to are Uluru, Katherine river cruise, Yellow river crocodile cruise but to name a few.
Our Tour Manager Mark Harris was brilliant at keeping us in the right place at the right time, he could give you loads of information about each place we went to, along with a big thank you to the bus driver/guides who got us there safely.

Kamal is an absolutely knowledgeable person, who is able to communicate well with the all concerned.
He made my holiday with his organisational skills and personable approach.

This was an amazing tour, enabling a grasp of both the history & culture of India. This was enhanced by a very experienced Tour Manager, Bhanu. Bhanu was extremely knowledgeable & ensured the smooth running of the tour. Out of the many highlights we were lucky to see Tigers in Ranthambore but also much enjoyed The Wagu Ceremony at The Pakistan Border and The Taj Mahal.

Just back from a wonderful trip to Egypt. 4 days in Cairo and a 7 day cruise on the Nile.
We felt safe and looked after at all times.
Seamlessly organised by our guide, Ayman, who was kind, approachable and around for us at any time. Our Egyptologist, George, was very knowledgeable and expertly chose to give information that was interesting and easy to understand.
Highly recommend this trip which gives the opportunity to visit all the sights you would expect in Egypt.

Superb trip to the city that never sleeps which does Christmas like no other.
Our superb tour manager Alex Becerra led the way and was always available for help and advice, he also went on a variety of walks around the city for those on the tour who were apprehensive to 'go it alone' we have travelled with Alex before and certainly hope to again in the future.
The hotel was right in the middle of all the action and had all you would need, the rooms were larger than average for a city centre hotel but either way you spend very little time in there.
We were exhausted by the end of the four days so the airport to home transfer Titan provide was most welcome.
This holiday is a great way to experience a truly great city of the world.

I am most disappointed at your complete lack of response to my repeated complaints regarding my recent trip.

I must assume that Titan/Saga S.O.P is to ignore customers who are not happy.

I will not book an further holidays with these you and encourage anyone considering do so to use another company.
