The British EBF Peter Willett Future Stayers race at The Goodwood Group today is always a quality race. Today, #RacingTV kindly featured one of the team Rachael Linsell (nee Gowland) to showcase some of the current prize money initiatives supported by British stallion owners via the British European Breeders' Fund. It was also a great opportunity to remind owners and trainers about our £100,000 2yo races which are coming up in the next few weeks. More information of which can be found here: https://lnkd.in/dFjsNbqe

. British European Breeders' Fund representative Rachael Linsell (nee Gowland) participated in Racing Together - how the sport helps others Community Day this year with the team at Newmarket Pony Academy. You can read more about her day in the post below.
Wednesday 8 May was Racing Together - how the sport helps others Community Day. I spent the morning at the brilliant Newmarket Pony Academy leading ponies for students, both in the school and for a 1 on 1 ride around the perimeter of the British Racing School where the NPA is based. Newmarket Pony Academy is a community project using horses and ponies to positively effect mental health and wellbeing for children. It was great to be part of Community Day on behalf of the British European Breeders' Fund and to do something completely different, using my (rusty) riding knowledge to give confidence to others. The team at NPA are great, they are always looking for volunteers and support, so give them a look: https://lnkd.in/eyR4_Akg Thank you to Anna Sylvester, Grace Allen, Melissa Moylan and the rest of the team for making me so welcome. #racing #Horseracing #community #communityday #volunteering

Delighted to see Bath Racecourse showcasing the sponsorship of the Lansdown Fillies Listed Stakes by Whitsbury Manor Stud Director and British European Breeders' Fund Trustee Ed Harper. The race is also supported by a £10,000 British EBF prize money contribution, in addition to Whitsbury Manor's generous sponsorship. An important illustration of how stallion studs not only suport British racing directly but also via the British EBF.
Excited for the 2024 running of the Whitsbury Manor Stud Lansdown Fillies Stakes on Friday night at Bath Racecourse. This race is one of the highlights of our racing season being and Friday will mark 25 years since the race was first run. The Listed race, ran over the minimum distance of 5 furlongs, boasts an outstanding roll of honour and is an important early season opportunity for fillies to record a strong result which is viewed as a big positive for their future breeding opportunities. Some of our team recently went to visit Whitsbury Manor Stud, who have kindly sponsored the race since 2012, to meet the stallions currently standing and chat with Stud Director, Ed Harper. 🎟️ Tickets and limited hospitality opportunities are available on our website or please feel free to get in contact with myself directly via the below: ☎️ 01225 424609 ✉️ [email protected] https://lnkd.in/exC8d2f8

An important part of life at British European Breeders' Fund is to maintain and enhance our relationships with racecourses who act as the conduit for our prize money support to owners. They also play an important role in helping us to communicate that the £2million put in to prize money each year comes from British based stallion studs and owners.
General Manager- Sandown Park Racecourse. Chartered Accountant & FD, now at the helm of Sandown Park Racecourse, one of the UK’s most important sporting venues.
Sharing knowledge… what a positive thing. A huge thanks to Rachael Linsell (nee Gowland) for coming to Sandown Park Racecourse to share with us the history and strategy of the BritishEBF and how they acheieved a huge £2m support for British prize money. My team were so engaged and brimming with ideas and enthusiasm to help both organisations. Sharing knowledge, so powerful.

Horse welfare is one of the highest priorities of anyone involved in the bloodstock and racing industries. As one of British horseracing's largest and most active sponsors, we support the new British Horseracing Authority campaign and associated web resource. Today, www.horsepwr.co.uk was launched, a go to resource to learn and help educate others as to all of the areas in which the human participants of horse racing support and care for their equine team-mates. Take a look. #horsepwr #horse #horses #horseracing
