Sophia Waters

Dr Sophia Waters is a Senior Lecturer in Writing at the University of New England, where she teaches academic writing. She's also taught a range of linguistics subjects in intercultural communication, semantics and second language acquisition. She coedited the book Cultural Keywords in Discourse that was published by John Benjamins in 2017. Her research specialises in Australian English and French discourse studies, semantics and pragmatics.
