Nicole is a transport policy researcher on policy and governance of driverless cars at University College London and on travel behaviour change at the University of Westminster. Nicole's doctoral research focuses on transport policy and governance for city regions. Nicole is currently completing her doctorate part time at the Centre for Transport at UCL.
Nicole is currently working as an advisor to the UK central government's Social Mobility Commission. She is advising on the role of transport policy in supporting upwards social mobility. Recently Nicole was affiliated to the University of Cambridge as a researcher on the UK2070 Commission, at the Centre for Digital Built Britain and Laing O'Rourke Centre for Construction Engineering.
Nicole has previously held research positions at the London School of Economics and Political Science, the Alan Turing Institute, University College London and the University of Cambridge.
