Corporal Pig
From Transformers Wiki
- Corporal Pig is a Deceptihog from the Angry Birds Transformers continuity family.
Already tougher than the average Minion Pig, Corporal Pig has been given a real boost by the EggSpark, granting him the powers of the mighty Transformer Galvatron! In fact, as Galvatron Pig, Scorponok Pig, Motormaster Pig, Drag Strip Pig, and Menasor Pig, this Deceptihog is driven by the need to conquer everyone and everything. Yikes!
Thankfully, Corporal Pig is still pretty dang stupid.

Angry Birds comic
Corporal Pig was standing idle when Chuck burst into Moustache Pig's latest building. The bird's entrance interrupted King Pig's latest attempt at cooking the Flock's eggs, and the entirety of the Bad Piggies were sent fleeing. As they hopped along, the Pigs stumbled upon the EggSpark. The first "volunteer" to touch the artifact became "Starscream Pig" and flew off. The rest of the pigs then touched the artifact, and Corporal Pig became Galvatron Pig! Unfortunately, Galvatron Pig received a healthy does of insanity to go along with his new body. He could now hear a number of voices inside his head, instigating him to perform all sorts of destructive acts. The pigs were soon joined by a couple of birds who were similarly upgraded upon touching the EggSpark. Megatron Pig ordered a retreat, and Galvatron Pig sped away in his truck mode. Angry Birds Transformers #1
Galvatron Pig was then tasked to carry Lockdown Pig around, as the incompetent foreman was unable to transform out of his "toilet mode." As the Deceptihogs began to argue between themselves, a Terror Tower sprung up from beneath them. Galvatron Pig began blasting away at the structure. This only led to the Deceptihogs tumbling inside of the tower when the floor beneath their feet gave way. Grimlock Bird then burst in and attacked the pigs. As Galvatron Pig fought the new arrival, he asked Grimlock Bird how he found time to do anything when his verbal tic made him say his own name over and over. No sooner was Grimlock Bird taken out that the rest of the Autobirds arrived. Galvatron Pig took on Heatwave Bird, though his efforts amounted to little against his steadfast opponent. The fight came to an abrupt end when the Flock's eggs suddenly sprouted mechanical limbs, multiplied, and proved themselves to be hostile. Age of Eggstinction!
The Autobirds and Deceptihogs joined forces to combat this newly arisen threat. But the pigs and birds were fighting a losing battle, forcing them to change tactics. Galvatron Pig was assigned to a team tasked with rescuing capturing an Eggbot for study. He proved too unstable to stay focused on the mission at hand, and began to blast away wrecklessly at the Eggbots instead of making any effort at capturing one. Once more, Heatwave Bird confronted the Deceptihog. Galvatron Pig came out on top in their little clash when Heatwave Bird attempted to transform into his vehicle mode, but instead turned into a novelty "singing plant" toy. Galvatron Pig rammed him with his truck mode, sending Heatwave Bird flying over the horizon. Galvatron Pig then turned on the three Minion Pigs in his group before moving on to Jazz Bird. Before he had a chance to blast his latest target however, Heatwave Bird came roaring back. He had been returned to his point of origin thanks to the giant slingshot he had landed in. Galvatron Pig was knocked unconscious and restrained. Revenge of the Fowlin'!Galvatron Pig briefly awoke, and began ranting about destroying everything before being knocked out once more by Grimlock Bird. When he awakened yet again, the pigs and birds had come within reach of the EggSpark. Galvatron Pig broke his bonds and ran amok. He took out Grimlock Bird, then Jazz Bird, before taking Bluestreak Bird out of commission. Lockdown Pig was his next victim, quickly followed by Arcee Bird. Galvatron Pig seemed unstoppable until an EggSpark-empowered Starscream Pig challenged him. (Galvatron Pig still found the time to knock out Heatwave Bird en route to meet this latest opponent.) Soundwave Pig and Grimlock Bird stepped in to restrain Galvatron Pig, while Starscream Pig and the EggSpark were flung off-planet, returning everything to normalcy. As the Bad Piggies went their own way, Corporal Pig had to put up with another of King Pig's temper tantrums. Hard Boiled

As Galvatron
- Squad: Target: 2006
- Mission Type: Firepower
- Unlock Type: New Area (800 pigs) TelePod
As Galvatron, Corporal Pig's primary attack is an instant-hit narrow-field violet laser beam that can bust blocks and pop Piggies with ease. It works wonders on flying foes, and at high levels can obliterate Walking Mortar Towers and high health bosses in a few hits! Unfortunately, it hasn't got the best rate of fire, and using it too quickly causes it to overheat and become unusable til he cools down, leaving him vulnerable. Therefore, he must very carefully choose his targets (which must rankle his "blast everything" attitude). Sometimes it's better to simply directly attack an armed Piggie than try and topple its tower.

As Energon Galvatron
- Squad: Energon Fueled
- Mission Type: Firepower
- Unlock Type: New Area (
20002400 pigs)
As if Galvatron Pig wasn't crazy-go-nuts powerful already, his energon-fueled incarnation adds some extra oomph, with a little bit of explosion upon destruction of the target, which can really set up a chain reaction of collapsing blocks. Of course, he keeps the unpredictable overheating problem, and adds the issue of his volatile energon-streaked body taking extra damage from even normal attacks. Luckily, he can heal damage by absorbing energon cubes obtained by blasting cyberformed bits of the scenery.

As Scorponok
- Squad: Enslavers
- Mission Type: Firepower
- Unlock Type: Challenge Event Prize (10000 Tokens)
Whereas Galvatron is powerful, dangerous, and evil, Scorponok is powerful, dangerous, and... oh. He joins the roster of Deceptihogs clamoring and bickering for leadership over Piggy Island.
Scorponok's laser beams pierce through targets just like Shockwave's, and his cannon has more firepower. However, shooting too much (five times) too rapidly will cause the gun to overheat and leave him vulnerable for several seconds.
He was first available in the May 2017 event, "Headmaster", at the new standard new character cost of 10000 tokens! Unlike Trypticon's event, you don't have the benefit of a maximum of 1500 tokens and a minimum of 500 tokens from leaderboards, but the event does go for 7 days.

As Motormaster
- Squad: Enslavers
- Mission Type: Firepower
- Unlock Type: Challenge Event Prize
Motormaster Pig fires bullets imbued with black oil in horizontal arcs, which deal sparingly manageable splash damage and ricochet off targets. Little-known fact: oil has absolutely no other known purpose whatso-flippin-ever. An amazing choice of weapon for the so-called 'King of the Road'.

As Drag Strip
- Squad: Specialists
- Mission Type: Intelligence
- Unlock Type: Challenge Event Prize
So, Drag Strip. Uh, not a WHOLE lot to say, but he isn't very complicated like the last five Transformers released. Nothing special in vehicle mode or when he isn't shooting. His weapon is sub-par with the other aforementioned characters, minus Grapple. But it's still dangerous. It's a plasma ball with a long cooldown, but when it hits something, it ricochets with an AMAZING heat-seeking motion to hit the nearest block, and it can do this multiple times. So one projectile can do good amounts of damage.

As Menasor
- Squad: Combiners
- Mission Type: Firepower
- Unlock Type: Competition Prize, Gem purchase, Gold Crate unlock
Menasor is possibly the most overpowered character in the game. His main weapon consists of two components: a version of Breakdown's scatterblaster, with a wide range and ricocheting shots, accompanied by an oil bullet from Motormaster's weapon. This attack gains ridiculous range at higher levels, and with the "explosive rounds" Sword Accessory, can obliterate entire screens of blocks and pigs before they even get on-screen. Even dormant Walking Mortar Towers can be destroyed before they have a chance to attack. You will rarely even need to use his secondary attack, which is basically Dragstrip's ricocheting pulse which can fire multiple blasts at once depending on how many targets are on-screen. He does have something of a problem destroying missiles unless they're directly targeted and at close range, but since most missiles bounce harmlessly off him, not a big deal. (Pig City missiles and Boss Pig's missile will still do damage, especially the latter.) Oh, and like the other Combiners, since he has no vehicle mode to dodge with, Monoliths shatter themselves against him, leaving not a scratch on his armor.
Like all Combiners, Menasor cannot use Energonicons... under normal circumstances. It is possible during Weekly Competitions where you can use two characters and an Energonicon: select a non-Combiner character as your first choice, then the Combiner in the second. Your normal character will have access to an Energonicon, and when you swap characters, the Combiner will also be able to use them and collect Energon cubes to fuel them. Handy! (This also works if you choose the Combiner as the first character, but you will not be given the option of choosing your Energonicon before the run, and will be stuck with whatever Energonicon the other character used last. Plus you'll have to swap to the normal character then back to get the Combiner access to it, and that's just an extra annoying step.)

Toys
Angry Birds Transformers
- Galvatron Pig (Telepod Racers, 2014)
- Accessories: Telepods base
- Known designers: Hisao Nishimoto (TakaraTomy)
- Part of the Toys"R"Us "Angry Birds Transformers" toyline, Galvatron Pig is figurine that autotransforms into a truck with the robot pig head on top when you push down on the head, and pops back up into robot mode via spring-loaded mechanism.
- His underside has a tiny code on the back that can be read by the Angry Birds Transformers app by placing it on top of a Telepod that has been placed on an iPhone/Android phone's camera lens. This allows you to scan him into the game and unlock him as a playable character, give the unlocked version a temporary stat boost, or speed up his upgrade/repair time.
- Optimus Prime Attack Game
- Accessories: Ramp, launcher
- The Optimus Prime Attack Game includes a non-transforming Galvatron Pig vehicle, with the pig's "head" being removable. He also has a different colour scheme from in game. Odd. The game challenges the player to launch Galvatron pig or Optimus Prime Bird at a large block-built Grimlock Bird tower and knock down blocks and Deceptihogs.
Notes
- The Galvatron Pig design merges elements of the original Galvatron with the alt-mode and other details of the Age of Extinction incarnation. As he levels up, the G1 look is further cemented by various bits of "armor" that he gains and a change in the color of his cannon.
- The Energon Racers pack doesn't include an Energon Galvatron Telepod for some reason, making him the only original map character in game to not have a Telepod in that pack.
