Stephen Edwin King (shq. Stiven Edvin King) (21 shtator 1947, Portland, Maine, SHBA), është një shkrimtar dhe skenarist amerikan. I dedikuar pothuajse tërësisht zhanrit horror dhe fantashkencë, në fillim të karrierës së tij ka përdorur dhe pseudonimin Richard Bachman dhe më rrallë John Swithen. Librat e tij janë shitur në më shume se 350 milionë kopje në mbarë botën, dhe pothuajse të gjithë kanë një version kinematografik. Nuk mund te lihet pa përmendur Shawshank Redemption, i cili renditet nga IMDb në vend te parë mes filmave më të bukur të realizuar ndonjëherë.[2]
