Catherine Élise "Cate" Blanchett është aktore dhe regjizore teatri australiane. Ajo ka fituar një numër të madhe çmimesh, më shumë: dy SAGs, dy Golden Globe Awards, dy BAFTAs ,gjithashtu Cate Blanchett u kandidua me rolin në filmin The Aviator ishte kandidate për çmimin Golden Globe të vitit 2004 në kategorin protagonistia dytësore.
