Florida's first two meetings with UCF were one-sided blowouts by Steve Spurrier's Gators in 1999 and Urban Meyer's 2006 national champions. The third meeting was during a lower-tier bowl game — a 29-17 Knights win in the 2021 Gasparilla Bowl — amid a coaching transition.
