Currently, which and how many accepted subspecies and varietates does Daucus carota have?
[edit]Hello, how are you all? I would like to inform and ask for help to put Daucus carota accepted subspecies and varietates, and sadly, none of the taxonomic databases (at least the most updated ones) is certain which are accepted and which are synonymous with other taxa:
- Catalogue of Life lists accepted 23 subspecies and 4 varietates.
- Global Biodiversity Information Facility (GBIF) lists accepted 25 subspecies and 2 varietates.
- Plants of the World (POWO) lists accepted 23 subspecies and 2 varietates.
- World Flora Online (WFO) lists accepted 15 subspecies and 0 varietates.
- World Plants lists accepted 23 subspecies and 4 varietates.
