Creating categories

[change source]

Hello, Oluwa2Chainz. Welcome to Simple English Wikipedia, and thanks for your work here. I noticed that you created some categories recently. You probably didn't know, but on this Wikipedia we want at least three entries in every category. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Categories#Is there a need for the new category?. The categories you created didn't have enough entries, so they have been deleted. The articles in them have been moved to other categories. You can create the categories again when there are three or more entries for them. Feel free to ask if you have any questions about this. --Auntof6 (talk) 05:24, 6 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the info Auntof6.--Oluwa2Chainz (talk) 10:49, 6 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Welcoming

[change source]
Thank you. That has been noted. Oluwa2Chainz (talk) 11:14, 10 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
In general, I am most happy to see you editing on our little wiki, but I think you are still too quick to dish out welcome notices. Just to illustrate a critical issue: there is still no direct claim or evidence for the notability of Royalty (album), and so the adequacy of that editor is still uncertain. The unaddressed issue of notability of popular music albums or numbers is one of our most persistent problems. Not only that, but the editor removed the notice "redirect to artist page -- no indication of notability for the album". It would have been better to direct the editor's attention to the problem and reinstate the notice until he does so. Cheers, Macdonald-ross (talk) 13:32, 14 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for pointing that out Macdonald-ross, obviously the rules on this wiki is quite different. Oluwa2Chainz (talk) 20:54, 14 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Vandalism Claim

[change source]

You reverted an edit I made to Pawn (chess) and left a message warning about vandalism. The edit I made was not vandalism and fixed an error on the page. The article claims that the pawn can take the bishop, directly in front of the pawn when it should read it can take the knight (the piece diagonally right). I am going to go ahead and restore my edit while waiting for a reply. Elec junto (talk) 20:17, 18 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I think the confusion may lie with me using the visual editor, which removes some whitespace in the source. I used the source editor when restoring the edit to make it more clear what I was changing this time. Elec junto (talk) 20:22, 18 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
