Richard "Rip" Hamilton (born February 14, 1978) is an American former professional basketball player and current Basketball Analyst for CBS Sports.[1] His career began in 1999 when he played for the Washington Wizards until 2002. Then he played for the Detroit Pistons from 2002 until 2011. Finally, he played for the Chicago Bulls from 2011 to 2013, when he retired.[1]

Hamilton was born on February 14, 1978 in Coatsville, Pennsylvania.[2] He began to play basketball in the Coatsville area.
