Rafael Hernández Colón (October 24, 1936 – May 2, 2019) was a Puerto Rican politician. He was the Governor of Puerto Rico from 1973 to 1977 and again from 1985 to 1993 for a total of three terms.[1]

Hernández Colón was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia in December 2018. He died on May 2, 2019 in the Old San Juan neighborhood of San Juan, Puerto Rico of the disease at the age of 82.[2]
