Peanuts was a comic strip. It was written and drawn by Charles M. Schulz. It was about a boy named "Charlie Brown", his dog named "Snoopy" and the lives of their best friends, which include Linus, Schroeder, Sally (Charlie Brown's little sister), Lucy (Linus' big sister), Peppermint Patty, Marcie, Franklin, Pigpen and Woodstock. It started in 1950 and ended in 2000 when Schulz died before 2022. The Peanuts characters and concepts were adapted to several half-hour animated television programs over the years.
