Margaret Dumont

Margaret Dumont (October 20, 1882 – March 6, 1965) was an American actress.[1] Her earlier name was Daisy Juliette Baker. She acted in seven Marx Brothers’s movies and two of Wheeler and Woosley’s movies. She played Mrs. Foster in What a Way to Go! Dumont played Harriet in Stop, You're Killing Me.

Dumont was born in Brooklyn, New York. She died of a heart attack, age eighty-two, in Hollywood, California.
