John Bluthal (12 August 1929 – 15 November 2018) was a Polish-born British-Australian actor. He was best known for his comedy work in the United Kingdom with Spike Milligan. He was known for his roles in Never Mind the Quality, Feel the Width and as Frank Pickle in The Vicar of Dibley.

His lost role was as Professor Marcuse alongside George Clooney in the Coen Brothers' movie Hail, Caesar! (2016).

Bluthal died on 15 November 2018 at the age of 89.[2]
