David Miscavige

David Miscavige (born April 30, 1960) is the current leader of the Church of Scientology and its second leader overall. He is the Chairman of the Board of the Religious Technology Center (RTC), which is the most powerful executive organization in the Church of Scientology. The RTC is responsible for maintaining the Scientology religion, its trademarks and copyrights, and ensuring the proper application of L. Ron Hubbard's technologies. Miscavige is also known within the organization as "DM," "COB," and "Captain of the Sea Org".
