All of our ingredients are thoughtfully sourced to create safe, sustainable products that are vegan, cruelty-free, phthalate-free, and never tested on animals.
Our candles are made with 100% domestically-grown soy wax, cotton core wicks, and a blend of fine fragrance oils that consist of natural and man-made materials.
Great question! We use a premium blend of man-made and natural fragrances for both our Classic and Alchemy lines, as they 1) allow us to create more complex scent profiles; 2) are oftentimes, more sustainable to produce; and, 3) allow us to offer our products at accessible price points.
Our products are designed to elevate - not overpower - your everyday. Because of this, their scent throw will be more intimate than other products on the market. To ensure your space is well-scented, we suggest using each product in the appropriately-sized space.
Small Spaces: 7.2 oz Standard Candles for a stronger, more contained scent throw and Room & Linen Sprays for a quick refresher (best used on linens!).
Medium Spaces: 7.2 oz Standard Candles and Reed Diffusers.
Large Spaces: 12.5 oz Large Concentrated Candles and Incense. We might also suggest burning two or more 7.2 oz candles at a time in larger spaces.
Our Standard Candles are great for bedrooms and apartments, or those with scent sensitivities. They enhance a space without overpowering it. They have a burn radius of 3-6 feet, and burn for 40-45 hours.
Our Large Concentrated Candles (new) are for bigger rooms, or those who prefer a strong scented candle. They have a burn radius of 6-10 feet, and burn for 60-70 hours.
Our Mini Candles are great for gifting, small spaces, or travel. They have a burn radius of 1-3 feet, and burn for 20-25 hours.
At P.F., we love our animals as much as you do, and our products are formulated to be generally safe to use in households shared with pets. Our products are not tested on animals, but we always recommend using them as directed according to our warning labels. Keep your P.F. products out of reach from pets (and children too!) since certain essential oils can irritate the skin or be toxic to some animal breeds. Smaller animals can be especially sensitive to their environments— please use caution using fragranced products around them. If you have questions or concerns about using P.F. products around your pet, please consult your veterinarian for the best advice regarding your furry friend.

Please note that we no longer accept empty jars at our stores and do not issue store credit for returned vessels.
Products need love too! To care for our candles, trim the candle’s wick to 1/4” before or after every burn session and allow the candle to burn for 3-4 hour intervals, or until a full melt pool has formed. For more in-depth care tips, check out the How to Use section of any candle product listing or on our Candle Care page.
To prolong the lifespan of our reed diffusers, keep them out of direct contact with sunlight, heat and humidity, and flip the reeds weekly, or when the fragrance becomes faint.
To help control the strength and prolong the life of car fragrances, we recommend keeping the cellophane on the product and slowly exposing a small portion of the freshener every week or so. Please be mindful that your Car Freshener avoids contact from textiles and finished surfaces, as well as placing car fragrances to the side of the steering wheel for less exposure to direct sunlight.
Our other products care for themselves, but that doesn’t mean you can’t say “I love you” every once in a while.
We set high standards about the ingredients we use because we know you’re using our products around people you love; we only produce what we'd personally use at home with our own families. Like all household products, make sure to use ours as directed and keep out of reach of pets + children. If you have any concerns, we recommend consulting with your physician or healthcare professional prior to using to ensure you and your little one are safe.
Our development and production calendars are unfortunately booked at this time and we are unable to take on additional custom projects. We do not manufacture white label products.

An order's tracking status may take 48 hours to update once a shipping label has been created. If you haven't received any updates after 48 hours, please reach out to our Customer Care team at [email protected] and we'll be happy to help you look into it. Due to the summer heat, melted or leaky candles may occur in transit. If you receive a melted candle in transit, please reach out to [email protected] with your order number and proof of damage to request a replacement within 48 hours of receiving your shipment. Please avoid leaving your packages outside in the hot summer sun when possible. Thank you for your understanding!
As soon as a package leaves our Los Angeles HQ, delivery time (including delays) is up to the carrier. We kindly ask that customers allow 3-5 business days from the delivery date for the package to hopefully find its way to the correct address. Sometimes carriers may mark a package as delivered before it actually reaches it's destination or in some cases, the package has been delivered to an Access Point/Locker for customer pickup. We recommend contacting the carrier directly with any shipping/delivery related issues since they'll have more information available.
We also encourage customers to double-check that your shipping address is correct before checking out; P.F. is not liable for missing/lost/stolen packages due to incorrectly entered shipping information and we’re unable to request address changes with the carrier once the package has been processed.

If your order is unable to be delivered, it may be returned to our warehouse. This decision is made on the carrier's end and is not within our control.
In the event we receive your order at our warehouse, we will reach out via email to arrange for a replacement order. If we are not able to get in touch with you, all orders returned to our warehouse will be refunded less the cost of shipping.

If you’re not 100% satisfied with one of your P.F. Candle Co. products, we would love to help make that right! Please contact our Customer Care team at [email protected] within 30 days of receiving your order and we’ll help get the process started. We require proof of purchase to process your request.
If you're experiencing an issue with a P.F. product, please reach out within 48 hours of receiving your order and include photos with a detailed description in your email so that our team can determine how to best lend a helping hand.
NOTE: We are unable to cover any return shipping fees. Discontinued items, limited edition/vault release items, or gift cards are final sale and not eligible for returns or exchanges. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in its original packaging. If your return is accepted, we'll send you instructions on how and where to send your package.

Subscriptions
Yes! For all of our classic line products, we offer subscriptions at 15% off. You can choose your delivery cadence, from monthly up to every 5 months.
We are not able to offer subscriptions on limited releases, such as vault releases, collaborations, and seasonal scents.
Subscriptions are subject to our current website terms and conditions, including but not limited to current shipping prices. At this time, shipping is $9.99 for orders under $75, and orders shipping to AK, HI and PR.
Shipping prices may change periodically, but will always be accurately reflected in the email summary you receive three days prior to your next subscription order.
