Abstract

Disclosed is a method for transmitting a cell ID of a specific type as physical layer ID information in addition to existing cell ID information. To this end, a method for increasing the number of cell IDs used in transmission of existing cell ID information in a synchronization channel can be employed, and a part of existing cell IDs can be set to be used for the transmission of additional specific type cell ID information. More specifically, in a case of increasing the number of cell IDs, a method for increasing the number of cell ID groups associated with a sub-synchronization channel without ambiguity problems and collision problems, a method for adding the number of cell IDs associated with a main synchronization channel in such a manner so as to satisfy characteristics of complex symmetry, a method for transmitting information using a transmission timing relationship of a main synchronization code and a sub synchronization code, and a method for transforming a scrambling scheme can be used. Further, in a case of reserving a part of existing cell IDs, characteristics of complex symmetry are considered in relation to a main synchronization channel, and ambiguity and collision problems are considered in relation to a sub-synchronization channel.
