Abstract

PURPOSE: To automate cleaning in the piping of a dispenser by on/off-actuating a dispenser valve and a dispenser head with gas used for drawing beverage. CONSTITUTION: Setting a mode selection switch to the 'Sanitation' position stops beer-drawing carbon dioxide gas from supplying to a cylinder 39 and a passage 14 of a dispenser head 3. Then a beer-drawing probe 13 is released from the top end 6 of a dip tube 5; the top end 6 and a valve 11 are lifted up; and the connection path probe 13, passage 14 and beer barrel 1 are intercepted. Carbon dioxide gas is supplied to a cylinder 37 of a dispenser valve 21, and an outlet port 43 is opened. Water is fed to the passage 14 through a first valve 23 and a feed pipe 30 from a water pipe 29, flows to the probe 13 and a piping 18, and is discharged from the outlet 43 of the dispenser valve 21 after cleaning.
