Abstract

CONSTITUTION: A mixture consisting of 0.5W5wt% fluorobiprofen shown by the formula, a glycol (e.g., propylene glycol, etc.), lower alcohol (e.g., ethanol, etc.), water or a blend of lower alcohol and water, and a gelatinizing agent (e.g., car- boxyvinyl polymer, etc.) is optionally blended with a solubilizer (e.g., propylene carbonate, etc.) and a nonionic surface active agent (e.g., sorbitan sesquioleate, etc.) to give a blend which is gelatinized to give an antiinflammatory and pain- killing gel. The gel is stable while being stored for a long time, and shows remedying effects with improved pain-killing an antiinflammatory actions.
