Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable a method to receive both E and L systems through automatic switching to receiver circuits appropriate for both the systems, by detecting the difference between both vertical synchronizing signals obtained from sychronizing separator cuircuits on both the E and L systems.
CONSTITUTION: A synchronizing signal from the synchronizing separator circuit, inputted to terminal 10, is applied to transistor 5 via integrating circuit 13, rectifier circuit 16 and amplifier 4, thereby driving system switching relay 7. Here, the vertical synchronizing signal from the synchronizing separator circuit gains its width of approximate 20μs on the E system, but extremely large its width of 16μs on the L system, so that a voltage integrated and rectified by integrating circuit 13 and rectifier circuit 16 will be small on the E system and extremely large on the L system. This difference is used for turning ON-OFF transistor 5 so as to control relay 6, thereby achieving the alternation between L-system exclusively-used circuit 8 and E-system exclusively-used circuit 9
