Abstract
Description
10 15 20 25 30 35 LIGAMENTOPLASTIE ACROMIO-CLAVICULAIRE ACROMIO-CLAVICULAR LIGAMENTOPLASTY
FIELD OF APPLICATION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to the field of repair of acromioclavicular disjunctions with destruction of stabilizing ligaments. The invention relates to the development of an acromioclavicular ligamentoplasty system that can be implemented, blindly, by a minimally invasive technique. DESCRIPTION OF THE PRIOR ART In a generally known manner, after having made an incision above the anterior border of the clavicle over 8 cm, and roughened the insertions of the trapezium, two anteroposterior tunnels are drilled obliquely through the clavicle, the one internally above the internal border of the clavicle, the other external equidistant from the outer edge of the clavicle and the outer edge of the coracoid. A metal loop is passed through each tunnel: the first loop in the first transverse tunnel. Place the 2nd loop in the 1st loop, then pull the 1st loop to draw the 2nd loop into the clavicular tunnel from behind. it is on this loop that the traction wire of the ligament will be fixed. A grommet is used to pass the ligament under the coracoid, and then this ligament is passed into the external hole, and traction is made until the clavicle resumes its anatomical position. The ligament is then blocked in the hole by an ankle. This acromioclavicular anchoring solution requires great dexterity and the implementation is far from easy.
This device has the advantage of providing an ancillary which greatly simplifies the technique of installation by allowing simultaneous preparation of the clavicular zone and the coracoid area. To avoid future imaging artifacts, this ligamentoplasty system uses non-metallic proximal and distal anchoring systems and more specifically PEEK. The basic concepts of the invention having been described above in their most elementary form, other details and characteristics will emerge more clearly on reading the description which follows and with reference to the appended drawings, giving nonlimiting example, an embodiment of the LIGAMENTOPLASTY ACROMIO CLAVICULAR system according to the invention.
