Abstract

The syringe is spring-loaded with compartments filled and its injection needle retracted within the body of the syringe. A mechanical release is actuated to initiate an automatic, two-stage, injection cycle: in stage 1 the needle is thrust forward to penetrate the body of the patient and in stage 2 the specific liqs. from each of the compartments are injected through the needle into the patient.
