Abstract

The invention relates to a lighting element (1), especially for advertising purposes, as a warning light, or for illuminating, comprising an at least partially light-permeable illumination area (4) which is retained by at least one clamping element (12, 13) and is provided with at least one illuminant (34). In order to create a lighting element (1) that is easy to transport, can be used for advertising purposes, for example, and is also suited to illuminate rooms or open-air grounds, the illumination area (4) is retained by at least two clamping elements (12, 13) along an axis of symmetry and can be reversibly moved from an unclamped position into a clamped position. Said embodiment ensures that the lighting element (1) can be converted into a compact shape and is therefore easy to transport while a relatively large lighting element that is noticeable and can be equipped with special advertising measures is created after bracing the utilized clamping elements (12, 13). The inventive lighting element (1) is easy to transport, can be assembled quickly, and can thus be displaced and be moved to a different location anytime.
