Besonders für die rollierende Beschickung eines Gargeräts, wie sie häufig in Restaurants zum Einsatz kommt, sind zahlreiche Hilfestellungen für eine Bedienperson über den Betrieb einer Anzeigeeinrichtung vorgeschlagen worden. So ist beispielsweise der EP 2 211 117 A1 ein Touchscreen für ein Gargerät entnehmbar, über das unter Einsatz mehrerer Menüebenen ein Funktionsablauf eines Gargeräts zusammengestellt werden kann. Dabei werden beispielsweise in einer ersten Menüebene auf dem Touchscreen auswählbare Gargutarten, wie Fleisch, Fisch, Geflügel, Beilagen, Backwaren oder in einem Finishing regenerierbare Gargüter, sowie die in einem Garraum des entsprechenden Gargeräte bereitgestellten Behandlungszonen, z. B. sechs Einschubebenen, angezeigt. Die Anzeige geschieht beispielsweise über Gargutartnamen und Einschubebenensymbole.
