Allow us to introduce Ignis, nature's baby food for marine juveniles, which we've developed in partnership with Zooca - The Calanus Company. With Ignis, Skretting customers will have access to fresh, canned Calanus finmarchicus, a tiny marine copepod rich in essential nutrients. This offers a new level of convenience for refining larval production and shrimp broodstock feeding, while promoting efficient feed intake and digestion. We don't just make fish and shrimp feed. We also create the digital infrastructure that enables lots of good things like precise nutrition, greater farm performance, and in-depth reporting at your fingertips. We've just not talked much about the technical stuff - until now. Today we kick off #SkrettingDigitalStories, a campaign that will showcase the way we work in this digital age - and the profound impact this has on our people and customers. In our first story, we talk to Kristoffer Tveit, our Digital Innovation Director. The self-confessed 'nerd' gives us a sneak peek into his world, and all the amazing digital developments that have come out of Skretting. It's a wrap! Larvi 2024, the Fish and Shellfish Larviculture Symposium, has come to a close – and what an event it was! Over 20 Skretting experts engaged with participants and customers at our booth, sharing insights on our latest innovations in larviculture. Through both poster and oral presentations, we covered a range of topics, including shrimp hatchery nutrition, EHP mitigation, and artemia enrichment for shrimp feed. A major highlight of the week was sharing a preview of our upcoming product, Ignis, which is the latest addition to our Shrimp Lifestart portfolio, created in collaboration with Zooca. Eamonn O'Brien, Global Product Manager for LifeStart at Skretting, had the honour of representing the industry as a speaker during the closing ceremony. “During Larvi, we have explored cutting-edge research, engaged in stimulating discussions, and forged new collaborations that will drive the future of larviculture," he said. We look forward to seeing you at our next event!

🥬Soy production is a cornerstone of many parts of our global food production system, including aquaculture feed. Unfortunately, soy is also known to drive deforestation, which impacts our climate and biodiversity negatively. Creating a deforestation-free supply chain isn’t easy, but we’re determined to overcome these challenges. Learn more about our approach and progress towards using responsibly-sourced soy: https://brnw.ch/21wMk4K #sustainability #ImpactReport #FeedingtheFuture

Great news for seafood lovers in the Netherlands! Leading Dutch retailer Albert Heijn has started selling sustainably-farmed shrimp, which is the result of a unique value chain partnership including shrimp importer Klaas Puul B.V., feed ingredient suppliers Veramaris and Protix, and Ecuador-based farm Cofimar S.A.. Cofimar has used an innovative shrimp feed made by Skretting Ecuador, which incorporates novel ingredients such as Veramaris algal oil and Protix insect meal. Not only is the marine footprint of the feed formulation greatly reduced, but the shrimp is also Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC)-certified and raised in accordance with stringent welfare practices. We are so proud of this partnership and what we have achieved together! Read more here: https://brnw.ch/21wMghj #innovation #sustainableaquaculture
