Quiddity is away on holiday from December 18 until January 7 and may not respond swiftly to queries. (or at all) |
Background: After 8 years of volunteering, I was hired by the Foundation in September 2013. From then until now I have been working as a Movement Communications Specialist, helping to ensure open lines of communication between our editing community and the developers, and surfacing issues that are important to our editors. (Essentially, that means I tried to read everything (twice), to point the staff and the communities towards documentation or discussions that need attention and input, to investigate problems, and to compile potential solutions).
I have previously worked: with the Collaboration team (on Notifications and Flow); on Hovercards; with Community Tech on the Community Wishlists; on Movement Strategy phase 1; with Hackathon organizers; with the Wikimedia Cloud Services team on documentation and comms; with the Reading Web team on the Desktop Improvements project; with the Advancement dept on documentation and communications; with the Abstract Wikipedia team; and on various other endeavours and side-projects.
