Panassko

I registered account "Panasko" in 2017 in which I made no edits. After several years in 2022 I wanted to start contributing to Wikipedia and registered new account "Panassko". I recently realized my accounts can be renamed (second s is added becouse I want to use with one s as that is simpler and is my usual username/nickname). I can access both accounts in case any confirmation is needed.

What I meant is that to process this request, we need to rename your account "Panasko" to "Panasko (usurped)" to free up the username for renaming "Panassko" to "Panasko." Comment Comment Kholat Syakhl, I noticed that you changed your username before one month and it's not desirable or healthy for a user to change his username more than once within a period of six months (common practice).   • Reason: I read everything about renaming on Wikipedia, and nowhere was there mentioned a number limit. Not even the Wikimedia page on "Unified accounts" supplied in the e-mail informing me that my request was denied mentions a change limit. Had I known that had I taken (even) more time to think. I have spent a lot of time thinking about a new username, coming up with many alternatives and even asking friends IRL about their opinions. It came down to two alternatives in the end, one based on my previous name and one shorter, I chose the shorter, but regret that. I am a kind of person that has a really hard time to make up my mind on details, but once I have I stick to it. I thought I had made up my mind entirely, but I had an urge to edit and sent a request prematurely.

    I understand you don't want people to change username all the time, but as I perceive it this is the only time I am doing it, so please, I beg of you to make an exception. I made a mistake and regret that, and was not informed on the request limit. This is final. Now that I know of this limitation, I accept I cannot change anymore for a good while after this, and I have no intention to do so either. I chose to change now, so shortly after, precisely because I want it right, over and done with, and not post anything under a username that I do not want and make a mess on talk pages with another username that links to my account. If you are strict, that means I cannot edit for half a year, until 2025. So again, I beg of you to make an exception.

    It turned out to be a really big mistake that I deeply regret. I am terribly sorry for the inconvenience, but I think this is the least bad solution to the situation. Thanks in advance. Regards.
