editHello Aopou. Upon investigation and discussion with some fellow stewards, it has become clear to us that you or someone you know had created the account Horcus, which was used to place votes in several SRGP requests for global renamer, including your own.
This will therefore be a warning against use of sockpuppets or meatpuppets for obtaining advanced permissions or tampering with other such discussions, or any other kinds of sockpuppetry or meatpuppetry. Even if you did not create the account in question, recruiting other people to vote for you or any other kind of off-wiki canvassing is - while not a set policy - frowned upon, and considering e.g. [1] and that the account was used to place votes just 16 minutes after creation, the probability that one of the reasons the account was created might have been namely to obtain votes for yourself or others cannot be overlooked by us.
After discussion with other stewards, all votes placed by Horcus have therefore been striked at this time. I have not blocked either accounts and have left your votes intact. Any further action on that end I will leave to another steward. EPIC (talk) 00:10, 29 December 2024 (UTC)
