Liquipedia:Notability Guidelines

Please note that the inclusion of pages in mainspace is ultimately up to the discretion of the Liquipedia administrators.

Sadly, not everything can be added to the wiki. We want all our pages to be as up-to-date as possible and to meet our general quality standards. This task becomes even more difficult the higher the number of pages created, not to mention other factors, such as the fact that lower-ranked teams generally don't have social media where they announce transfers and so on.

Now, these rules are not non-negotiable. This wiki contains coverage of certain teams, players and scenes that do not meet our guidelines, but we allow them because there are one or more active volunteers who maintain these pages to a high standard. However, this doesn't mean that we'll allow you to create a page for your team simply because you commit to keeping it up to date. On the other hand, if you're very interested, for example, in updating the Spanish national scene, don't hesitate! In cases where this is not the case, it means we have to set priorities: we try to limit our coverage to the upper and lower levels of the TFT competition, as defined by the guidelines below. Pages that do not meet these criteria will not be deleted but moved to your user space.

• Weight Points for Qualifier Tournaments:
  • Qualifier Tournaments of S-Tier, A-Tier and B-Tier count for 50% Weight Points of Respective Tiers.
  • Qualifier Tournaments of C-Tier and D-Tier do not count for Weight Points.
• Weight Points for Miscellaneous Tournaments:
  • Miscellaneous Tournaments of S-Tier, A-Tier and B-Tier count for 50% Weight Points of Respective Tiers.
  • Miscellaneous Tournaments of C-Tier and D-Tier do not count for Weight Points.
• Weight Points for Other Tournaments:
  • Monthly Tournaments do not count for Weight Points.
  • Weekly Tournaments do not count for Weight Points.
  • Showmatch Tournaments do not count for Weight Points.
  • Miscellaneous Tournaments do not count for Weight Points.

Notability Conditions

Players

Players may receive their pages as long as they surpass a certain threshold of notability. Check the bullet points below. If your chosen player or coach fits at least one of these, then they are likely notable to warrant a page on this wiki. To create a new player page, follow the Player Template.

• Weight Points:
  • Players qualified to Pan-Regional Finals of official circuits will directly get their pages created.
  • Players with 10 Weight Points will be considered for page creation.
  • Players with 7 - 9 Weight Points can be brought up for page creation discussion.
• Achievements: If the player has achieved notable results, according to the broad guidelines in Notability Conditions, and has minimum earnings of $1,000 USD (open to discussion from $500 USD).

Teams

Teams may receive pages when they surpass a certain threshold of notability. Check the bullet points below. Please note that notable results will generally be the primary determinant of notability. However if your chosen team fits one of these, then they may be notable to warrant a page on this wiki. To create a new team page, you can use our Special:TeamTemplate.

• Weight Points: Teams will need a total of 30 Weight Points to be considered for page creation.
  • Teams featuring notable players or about to play in S/A/B-Tier events can be brought up for discussion.
• Notable Results: The team has notable results, as defined in Notability Condition, and minimum earnings of $3,000 USD;
• Well-Established Organization: The team is a well-established esports organization with highly notable results in other esports, defined as having pages on at least 3 other Liquipedia wikis.
