Sons of the Sun (meaning Hijos del Sol in Spanish) (abbr. SuN) is a Mexican Age of Empires II team, founded in April 2007.
Overview[edit]
The origin of SuN dates back to 2007 when Abe and Chango joined PaTiN, Leozim and ChileSun for the World Clan League 6 tournament organized by Legion Clan. SuN advanced through the qualifying rounds defeating the Legion Clan B and Ares teams to later finish in 3rd place in the tournament, only surpassed by The Legion Clan A and Poison of Zone.
After that SuN moved away from international tournaments and in 2012 it would end up separating definitively. However, a new generation of SuN appeared when some mexican players like Keno and Puerco Negro refound the team in 2019 with the addition of Tatakae and Uzzi. Shortly after, a few young players like MostMilk, Epilogo and MVP_AOE joined the team.
Despite the departure of Uzzi in 2021 and the inactivity of Tatakae and Epilogo, the clan continued to play up until October 2022 when most of the players left to create RoK.
