Nucleus septalis medialis est unus ex nucleis septalibus et simul locus nucleorum septalium ex quo neurones in parte maiore ad corticem entorhinalem[1] et hippocampum currunt et per neurotransmissionem cholinergicam effectus suos exercent.
Nucleus septalis medialis communiter cum aliis nucleis septalibus in parte basali telencephali situs est.
Nucleus septalis medialis est pars generatorum hippocampalium EEG-undarum theta.

[recensere | fontem recensere]Nuclei septales sunt grex perykarya cellularum nervalium, in parte basali telencephali locati, infra rostrum corporis callosi et ante laminam basalem prosencephali. Perykarya greges et medialis (nucleus septalis medialis) et laterales (nucleus septalis lateralis) formant.
Iter septale-entorhinale
[recensere | fontem recensere]Nexibus ab nucleis septalibus ad corticem entorhinalem neurotransmissores duo, acetylcholinum (ACh) ac GABA, fortasse etiam glutamatum sunt[2]. Videtur, ut gubernatio genesis neurotransmissoris ACh - in hippocampo secernatus - cholini acetyltransferasi (ChAT) exprimendo fiat[3].
