Key contributions

How it's all started?

As a child, I used to love drawing, a lot. It was my hobby during the school holidays. When I got my first computer in 2004, I started learning everything I could about technology. A few years later, I learned how to design in Photoshop and couldn't stop.

I documented my journey through design and computers since I was a child till today. It includes a yearly, picked highlights from 2004 till 2024.

Ahmad's frontend development knowledge alone already makes him one of the top CSS experts out there – but it's the added care and research he puts into any topic he covers that have made his blog into my favorite CSS resource, bar none.

The Coffee Corner

I always start my day with a cup of espresso. I have a Breville Barista Pro along with AeroPress, moka pot, french press, and turkish coffee.

If you want to support my work, you can buy me a cup of coffee. I'm using a service called (Ko-fi) for that purpose.

My espresso gear

I have a few tools that help me to get the perfect espresso shot. I'm still learning, though.

  • Sage Barista Pro
  • Sage Smart Pro Grinder
  • Nomcore bottomless portafilter
  • Dosing cup
  • Coffee scale
  • Puck screen
I spent months learning how to froth milk. This is one of the results that I like.
A few cups of coffee that I'm proud of.

I love photography

As a child, I was known as the "family photographer", always capturing moments of family and nature. I'm grateful to still have our photo archive, dating back to 2006.

Even though I haven't fully pursued professional photography, my love for it remains. On my 32nd birthday, my daughter gifted me a photo album, inspiring me to recreate this section for fun and to challenge my CSS skills.
