Herbert Ward
Herbert Ward (11 Januari 1863, London – 5 Agustus 1919, Neuilly-sur-Seine) adalah pematung, ilustrator, penulis, dan penjelajah Inggris di Afrika. Dia adalah anggota Ekspedisi Bantuan Emin Pasha Henry Morton Stanley dan menjadi sahabat karib Roger Casement saat mereka bekerja di Negara Bebas Kongo. Ward kemudian menjadi pematung dan tinggal di Prancis. Dia dianugerahi Croix de Guerre,[1] dua kali disebutkan dalam penempatan di Perang Dunia I, adalah seorang perwira Légion d'honneur[2] dan anggota Royal Society of Sculptors.[3] Ward dikebumikan di Pemakaman Père-Lachaise, Paris.[4]
