  1. (obsolete) One who takes a repast, or light meal.
    • 1804, William Herbert, Antiquities of the Inns of court and chancery, page 311:
      if any fellow of this house, being a commoner, or repaster, should, within the precincts of this house, wear any cloak, bootes and spurrs, or long hair, to pay for every offence 5s. for a fine, and also be put out of commons.
    • 1896, ‎Frederick Andrew Inderwick, ‎Richard Arthur Roberts, A Calendar of the Inner Temple Records - Volume 1, page 239:
