Pronunciation
[edit]- As for Tonal Class, Benson (1964) classifies this term into Class 5 with a trisyllabic stem, together with kĩboboto, ndaraca, and so on.
- (Kiambu) Yukawa (1981) classified this term into a group including mwĩrĩ, mũka, ngitĩ, nyũmba, etc.,[2] which is merged with another group including kahiũ, mũtĩ, etc. in Yukawa (1985).[3]
