adamantinoma (plural adamantinomas or adamantinomata)

  1. (medicine, obsolete) A benign tumor of the jaw occurring occasionally in young people. These tumors originate in the enamel organ, developing from the remains of its epithelium, and may reach the size of an apple.
  2. (medicine) A rare bone cancer usually occurring in the bones of the lower leg and involving both epithelial and osteofibrous tissue.
