Confusingly linked from this.
이- as a prefix means this. It is part of a set as follows:
- 이 - this (near speaker)
- 그- that (near listener, or "what we were just talking about")
- 저- that over there (away from both of us!)
As a postposition particle, 이 goes with 가 as a subject marker. Ed Poor
Passivization suffix
[edit]Looks like this entry requires an additional etym section for —이— (-i-, passive suffix), as in 틀리다 (teullida) etc. ‑‑ Eiríkr Útlendi │ Tala við mig 02:10, 3 March 2014 (UTC)

[edit]This is the second page where I have encountered the same table under "See also." "See also" is for referring to another page. This table would be better off as a Wikipedia article, which multiple Wiktionary entries could point to. Otherwise improvements made in one instance will not be made in the others. — This comment was unsigned.
- 1. The see also section currently not only refers to another page but to multiple pages, no? (am I misunderstanding you?)
- 2. We have Appendix pages on Wiktionary, which might be more appropriate than Wikipedia (but I personally think See also is fine)
- 3. You don't need to worry about copies becoming out of sync: if you look at the code, it has "
{{Korean demonstratives}}
", which means that the main text is at Template:Korean demonstratives and is being included from there :) - —suzukaze (t・c) 06:56, 3 March 2018 (UTC)
